On September 30, eighty young professionals attended the Houston Symphony Young Associates Council’s 2015YOUNG ASSOCIATES 16 kick-off event. Celebrating COUNCIL the philanthropic group’s fourth year, the festivities took place at the Burberry store in the Houston Galleria. Matthew Roitstein, the Symphony’s Associate Principal Flute, mingled with guests and spoke about his newest instrument: the bass flute. In addition to its involvement hosting the event, Burberry donated a percentage of purchases made that evening to the Houston Symphony. Our sincerest thanks go to Ting Bresnahan, Chair of the Young Associates Council, along with Valerie Dieterich, Christine Falgout, Alexandra Gottschalk and Catherine Matthews for helping to make this event possible. For information about the Young Associates Council, please contact Molly Simpson, Director, Major Gifts, at molly. simpson@houstonsymphony.org.
