A Republican You Should Know! According to her website, Judge Michelle Slaughter is a constitutional conservative judge and an originalist – much like Justice Clarence Thomas. As a district judge, Judge Slaughter has presided over thousands of felony criminal cases and well over a hundred felony criminal jury trials ranging from state-jail felonies to capital murder cases. She is the only candidate in this race with a proven track record of efficiency, effectiveness, transparency and saving taxpayer dollars.

Judge Michelle Slaughter Gets Things Done.

As a highly-accomplished attorney, Michelle was disgusted at what she saw happening in the 405th District Court. The judge in that court at the time was a liberal, activist judge. The court was the least efficient, least effective court with the highest reversal rate and the highest backlog ( by far) in Galveston County. This was a judge that had been there for 12 years, had been a lifelong prosecutor and a 1st Assistant District Attorney with a lot of criminal experience. On paper, he looked like an excellent judge. But he had the worst track record of any judge in Galveston County.

“Judge Michelle Slaughter values the vote, prayers, and support of every Texan.”

Kevin Brady U.S. Representative 8th Congressional District of Texas

As a person who gets things done, Michelle ran against and beat this 12-year incumbent judge. Within her first two years on the bench, Judge Slaughter transformed the court into the most efficient, most effective district court with the lowest backlog in Galveston County. She fought for and implemented transparency for the court. She also found cost-savings solutions and has saved taxpayers tens of thousands of dollars every year she has been on the bench. Now in her second term as a district judge, Judge Slaughter has maintained that efficiency, effectiveness, transparency, and fiscal responsibility. Elect Judge Slaughter to the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals, Place 8! With her conservative values, proven track record, experience with thousands of criminal cases, and quality credentials, Judge Slaughter is the best candidate for the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals, Place 8. She and her opponents have been fully vetted through extensive question-

naires and panel interviews of various endorsing groups. Judge Slaughter has earned well over 90% of all endorsements made in this race. Judge Slaughter received the unanimous board endorsement of Grassroots America – We the People and received 16 out of 17 votes of the board for the Conservative Coalition of Harris County endorsement. She also earned the endorsements of Empower Texans, Texas Right to Life, Texas Homeschool Coalition, Texas Values, and many, many more! “I am excited to be your choice for the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals, in Place 8. I promise to stick to my constitutional conservative values, and be a judge that you can always be proud to support!” – Michelle Slaughter

Special Message from Judge Michelle Slaughter:

“Thank you to Constable Derrick Rose for bringing kids from the Greater St. Matthew Church to visit me today. Thank you also to the bailiffs, prosecutors, attorneys, probation department and court staff for teaching these kids about the roles you serve. I love sharing my passion for our justice system with students!”

COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

Beyond her public service as a judge, Judge Slaughter believes in giving back to her community. Judge Slaughter involves herself in community service, especially that which helps the elderly, children, and babies. In addition to serving for three years as Vice President of the Board of Trustees for The Galloway School in Friendswood, a private Christian school, Judge Slaughter is a member of the League City Lion’s Club and volunteers to help cook and serve at their monthly senior citizen breakfasts. Twice a year, Judge Slaughter donates items for and volunteers at the semi-annual Senior Share of Galveston County, Inc. events that help our local senior citizens. She also serves as the annual sponsor for the Galveston County Fair & Rodeo’s Senior Citizens Day. Judge Slaughter is also an advocate, sponsor and volunteer for various organizations and events to assist pregnancy and parenting centers in Galveston County. These are just a few of the many ways that Judge Michelle Slaughter serves and helps her community. Judge Slaughter is committed to helping any way she can, including by donating her hair on several occasions to use in wigs for cancer patients.

JUDGE SLAUGHTER ASKS FOR YOUR SUPPORT AND VOTE

As Judge of the 405th District Court, Judge Slaughter fulfilled all of her campaign promises and has gone above and beyond in her duties. She now asks for your help, support, and vote in the 2018 Republican primary to become Judge, Texas Court of Criminal Appeals, Place 8. Judge Slaughter wants to use her constitutional conservative values, judicial experience, and commitment to our justice system to protect and defend our U.S. and Texas Constitutions and to ensure justice for Texans across the entire State.

Judge Slaughter is Conservative, Effective and Experienced. Judge Michelle Slaughter (second from left), Tanya Robertson, James Dickey (Chairmain Republican Party of Texas), JT Edwards and Dr. Robin L. Armstrong.

DON’T FORGET THAT EVERY VOTE WILL MATTER ON TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 6TH IN HARRIS COUNTY ANALYSIS BY AUBREY R. TAYLOR

T

here’s a lot of talk about a “BLUEWAVE” floating around. But conservatives from all across Texas believe you should get prepared for a “REDSTORM.” And, according to published information, they’ve earned the right to be confident about thier 2018 Midterm Election chances. In case you don’t know, Republicans hold every statewide elected office and majorities in the state senate, state house and on the state board of education. And they also hold majorities in 107 Texas counties that contain nearly two-thirds of the state’s population. But on Tuesday, November 6, 2018, the day when Democratic hopefuls and Republican hopefuls are set to face off, nothing should be taken for granted.

EARLY VOTING PERIOD:

The early voting period will begin on Monday, October 22, 2018, and end on Friday, November 2, 2018 in the State of Texas.
