Policies POLICIES

University Catering at HSC is thrilled to have the opportunity to work and build a relationship with you. We will do everything in our ability to make your event a success, and there are some policies that need to be adhered to in order to continue to provide the level of service you have come to expect from University Catering at HSC.

Hours of Operation University Catering at HSC is open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Any events that start or extend outside of regular business hours will incur an after-hours fee of 15 percent of the total bill.

Booking Your Event You can call (405) 271-1532 for catering through Beaker’s Café and (405) 271-1685 for catering through the Healthy Hearth. University Catering’s email address is University-catering@ouhsc.edu. Both operations can accommodate anything within this menu. For us to accommodate your needs, please have the information ready before you call or include in your email: • Name of the person responsible for the event and departmental billing information • Organization name, address, phone number and a contact to reach on the day of the event • Event date, location and number of guests • Delivery service or time - we must be aware of any programs before, during or following your event • Special needs, such as registration table, awards tables, head table, or reserved guest tables • Special dietary needs • Method of payment Customers requesting tax-exempt status must fill out a statement of tax exemption on file with our department. To ensure quality service, University Catering at HSC suggests a 48-hour notice for proper preparation. Any orders placed after the 48-hour period will be accepted at the manager’s discretion and may be subject to an additional fee.

Dietary Restrictions All dietary restrictions must be specifically stated four days in advance to be properly ordered.

Delivery Charge (outside of the David L. Boren Student Union and the Stephenson Cancer Center) Orders that are $100 or less will incur a charge of $15 Orders that are more than $100 will incur a charge of 15 percent of the total bill.

Prices and Fees Menu prices do not include delivery charges, sales tax (if applicable) or charges for special services, rentals, or holiday charges.

Tables, Chairs and Special Equipment University Catering at HSC does not supply or move tables, chairs, podiums, microphones, risers, etc. Clients are responsible for securing proper table requirements for food service and guest seating and any other event needs. If you require additional tables and chairs, please contact your specific building coordinator. White garden chairs are available to rent for $2.75 per chair. Please call (405) 271-1532 to order.

China and Linen Unless otherwise specified, all events include plasticware and linen for the buffet table only. If you request linen for guest tables, specialty tables, registration tables, etc., those linen charges will be added to your bill. All events may request china and linen for an additional fee.

Taking food from an event No perishable food may be taken from events. All perishable food items will be removed after a two-hour time period in accordance with health code. Takeout boxes will not be provided for non-perishable items. Current pricing is subject to change based on market fluctuations. Please confirm pricing with your catering contact.

University Catering at HSC along with Faculty House have first right of refusal in the David L. Boren Student Union. The Healthy Hearth has first right of refusal at the Stephenson Cancer Center.
