Hot Tub Pre-Installation Guide 13amp
1. Access Make sure there is suitable access for the delivery of the hot tub. We will be using a spa sled. Please refer to our preparation videos & guides for advice on this. Any questions please call us.
2. Prepare Your Surface. We recommend a flat concrete base which is 10-15 cm deep. please remember the dry weight of an average hot tub design is 350 to 500 KG & therefore after water, the weight will be near to 2 tonnes.
3. Prepare The Location Of Your Hot Tub Location is very important part of this process, hot tubs as mentioned above are very heavy & even heavier when full of water. Please do not consider them to be like a sofa & can be moved every time you need a change, please consider your new spa as a part of the house like a extension & therefore more permanent.
4. Prepare Your Electricity Supply You will need a weather proof outdoor socket in preparation for delivery and installation. This socket needs to be exclusive for the hot tub, the feed must not be shared. Extension leads can not be used.
5. Water Supply The water flow needs to be sufficient enough to ensure the hot tub is filled in minimal time.
