Bromine Deluxe Starter Pack Contents List 1KG Bromine Tablets – Like chlorine, Bromine is an essential chemical sanitiser that helps maintain bacteria free water.

Bromine is a softer alternative to chlorine, ideal for people with sensitive skin.

1KG pH Plus - Powdered additive that is used to increase the pH to a desirable level.

1KG pH Minus - Added directly to the pool water to reduce the pH to a desirable level.

1KG Chlorine Reducer - A crystal additive that is used to reduce & lower the bromine level where overdosing has occurred.

1KG Alkalinity Increaser - Used to increase the alkalinity levels in the water.

1KG Non Chlorine Shock - Used weekly to keep the water clean & clear.

1Litre Water Clarifier - A liquid product that coagulates smaller particles into larger clusters so they can be filtered out of the water.

1Litre Algaecide - A liquid solution that is used to destroy algae & prevent future growth.

1Litre Antifoam – Inert silicon based liquid that can be added directly to the foaming area to help reduce & prevent.

4 Way Testing Strips x 50 – Gives readings on ph, alkalinity, bromine & water hardness.

Floating Dispenser - Holds & disperses tablets into the water.

Instructions For granule products such as non-chlorine shock, ph plus, ph minus, alkalinity builder & chlorine reducer, it is recommended to pre-dissolve the product in a container mixed with warm water.

Step 1: Non-Chlorine Shock: • Wait for the hot tub water to reach 25 degrees (during initial set up) • Add 2 teaspoons of non-chlorine shock to eliminate all impurities from the water.

• Allow 5 minutes of the pumps running before putting the cover back on.

• Leave the hot tub for 2 hours before adding further chemicals.

• Shock is an oxidiser that helps to kill off any surviving bacteria & keep the water fresh & clear.

• Use non chlorine shock once per week as part of your weekly hot tub maintenance.

Step 2: Add Bromine Tablets: • Put 2-5 tablets in a floating dispenser & adjust the collar accordingly on the side of the dispenser & place in water.

• When setting up hot tub from start allow up to 24 hours for bromine tablets to react with water & test to ensure that levels are correct for safe use.

• Always test water balance & bromine levels before using hot tub.

Floating Dispenser: • Fill the dispenser with bromine tablets (twist the bottom collar to achieve the desired chemical flow rate) & place in the hot tub.

• Keep the dispenser in the water at all times to keep water sanitised.

4 Way Testing Strips • Dip one strip into water for 5 seconds with a simple back & forth motion • Remove strip and shake to remove excess water • Wait 15 seconds • Match pH, free chlorine / bromine, total alkalinity & total hardness to the colour chart (ensuring colour matching is done within 30 seconds).

• Always use testing strips prior to entering hot tub to ensure safe water.

Only If Required Alkalinity Increaser • Add 1 teaspoon per 1000 litres of spa water & run pumps for 5 minutes to circulate water.

• Leave for up to 1 hour then re-test to ensure pH level 7.2 - 7.6.

• Check water balance levels with a testing strip & add more alkalinity increaser if required.

Antifoam • Shock dose with 50ml to the foaming area.

• Run jets for 30 seconds to circulate solution.

• Add more antifoam in 5ml doses if required.

Water Clarifier • Add 100ml per 1000 litres of spa water.

• Dilute in a container of warm water prior to application.

• Apply when the hot tub is filtering.

Algaecide • Shock dose with 20ml per 1000 litres of spa water.

• Run jets for 30 seconds to circulate solution.

• Add 2.5ml per 1000 litres of spa water weekly for future prevention.

PH Plus • Add 1 teaspoon per 1000 litres of spa water & run pumps for 5 minutes to circulate water.

• Leave for up to 1 hours then re-test to ensure pH level 7.2 - 7.6.

• Check water balance level with a testing strip and add more Ph Plus if required.

PH Minus • Add 1 teaspoon to 1000 litres of spa water & run pumps for 5 minutes to circulate water.

• Leave for up to 1 hours then re-test to ensure the correct pH level (7.2 - 7.6) has been reached.

• Check water balance level with a testing strip & add more Ph Minus if required.

Chlorine Reducer • Add 1 teaspoons per 1000 litres of water & run the pumps to circulate spa water.

• Wait 1 hour and test water balance with testing strips • Add again if necessary, to reach the correct level of Chlorine/ Bromine
