Give Miami Day is the biggest annual giving event in the Southeast United States. This year it will again ignite Greater Miami for 24 hours today. They made histor y on Give Miami Day 2015, raising $7.1 million for more than 600 local nonprofits from more than 17,000 donors spanning the city, nation and globe. Give Miami Day allows all individuals in our community to make a philanthropic impact by collectively supporting our local nonprofit o r g a n i z a t i o n s . Tw e n t y four hours of giving begins at 12:00 a.m. November 17 and ends at 12:00 a.m. on November 18. Throughout the day, individuals may view online profiles of more than 600 nonprofit organizations serving MiamiDade County and make a charitable gift and the Miami Foundation and partners will maximize the community's generosity by making a bonus gift for ever y donation between $25 and $10,000

Compass presents an Open Mic in honor of National Tr a n s g e n d e r D a y o f Re m e m b r a n c e a t 6 p m . Commemorate those that have lost their lives for staying true to themselves, and raise awareness to end anti-transgender hatred and prejudice.
