increase in saliva, and saliva helps prevent decay, this is the best time to splurge. Also, if you can avoid stickier candies which tend to linger to the crevices of the teeth, that would be most ideal. The stickier the candy, the harder it is to remove from the enamel, and the better the chance of creating a cavity. Lastly, drink more water, preferably fluoridated. So guys, go out and have some fun this Halloween season, after all, it is Gay Christmas. But, make sure you take care of your teeth. Brush them, don’t eat too much candy and rinse with mouthwash like the doctor ordered. Don’t forget the importance of regular checkups with the dentist.
