week ago Monday, Equality Florida honored Broward County Mayor Marty Kiar with the Ally for Equality Award at Cafe Vico. On Wednesday night, I headed to the Boardwalk as they were celebrating the birthday of longtime friend and current Honorary Miss Florida F.I., Kitty Meow. It was obvious how much Kitty Meow is loved! On Thursday, the Pride Center hosted their monthly Founders Circle Mixer at Clad Tile with JM Lexus as the sponsor, and once again this was a busy event. On Saturday evening was the Ricky Martin "One World Tour" concert at the Hard Rock Live at Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. Some of the Hotspots Media Groups staff joined the Stonewall National Museum & Archives for the concert to help support their mission to promote understanding through preserving and sharing the proud culture of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people and their significant role in American society. As expected, it was a great concert. Later that night there were many parties in Fort Lauderdale: we started at Hunters who presented their monthly Teddy Bear party hosted by Rramon Mia and starring DJ Alex Ferbeyre. Then it was off to Georgie's Alibi/Monkey Bar where they presented “Underbear Underwear Party” starring the sounds of Muscle-bear DJ Alex Ramos, and we ended the night at the manor who had a very special event, the premiere of their monthly “Circus” party which starred international celebrity DJ Oscar G and was packed in every room. On Sunday, the first stop was Pink Sub who hosted 5th Element Spa with a Sub & Rub Party at their restaurant. Then it was off to Scandals Saloon presented their monthly Lady fancy's Gospel Jubilee, which, as always, was packed with an audience who loves the joyful celebration of Southern Gospel Music.

From Academy Award winning director Roger Ross Williams, Life, Animated is the inspirational story of Owen Suskind, a young man who was unable to speak as a child until he and his family discovered a unique way to communicate by immersing themselves in the world of classic Disney animated films. This emotional coming-of-age story follows Owen as he graduates to adulthood and takes his first steps toward independence. The subject of his father Ron Suskind's New York Times bestseller (“Life, Animated: A Story

Of Sidekicks, Heroes, And Autism”) Owen was a thriving three year old who suddenly and inexplicably went silent – and for years after remained unable to connect with other people

or to convey his thoughts, feelings or desires. Over time, through repeated viewings of Disney classics like The Little Mermaid and The Lion King, Owen found useful tools to help him to understand complex social cues and to reconnect with the world around him. Life, Animated evocatively interweaves classic Disney sequences with verite scenes from Owen's life in order to explore how his identification and empathy for characters like Simba, Jafar, and Ariel gave him a means to understand his feelings and allowed him to

interpret reality. Beautiful, original animations offer rich insights into Owen's fruitful dialogue with the Disney oeuvre as he imagines himself heroically facing adversity as a member in a tribe of sidekicks. Owen's story is a moving testament to the many ways in which stories can serve as a means of persevering through the dark times, leading us all toward the light. Life, Animated opens this Friday in South Florida and has a run time of 91 minutes and is rated PG.

Gay Florida

Fort Lauderdale

S

ince the 1960's everyone knows that Fort Lauderdale is “Where the Boys Are” but over the past decade or so, that saying has really gotten a lot, and we mean A LOT gayer!. The Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention and Visitors Bureau started marketing to the LGBT community 20 years ago. Since then, they have seen the number of LGBT tourists skyrocket: they welcomed 800,000 tourists ten years ago, and 1.3 million visited in 2013. What used to be a spring break destination and a "well-kept secret" for the LGBT traveler has now become one of the places to be out and proud, not just in South Florida, but on the world stage. So if you live here, or if you're like one of those millions of LGBT tourists who come down to enjoy our beautiful beaches and warm weather, let's take a look at some of the highlights the “Venice of America” has to offer.

WHERE TO STAY Windamar Beach Resort recently underwent a series of renovations, and now every guest room boasts pool and garden views, televisions with DVD players, and coffee makers. Enjoy

amenities such as a clothing-optional pool and jacuzzi, continental breakfast, and a DVD lending library. For people who want to see what Windamar is all about, day passes are available for purchase. (543 Breakers Ave., Fort Lauderdale, 954-561-0039) The Cabanas Guesthouse and Spa has been open for sixteen years and has welcomed tourists from all over the world. At the men's

day spa, you can get everything from a manicure and pedicure to a massage, and even a waxing. The property is located right on the water, and features such amenities as a clothing-optional heated saltwater pool, high-speed internet, a ten-man jacuzzi, and a coffee bar in each room. (2133 NE 26th St., Fort Lauderdale, 954-564-7764)

discover Gay Florida The Worthington Guest House and the connected properties Villa Venice and the Alcazar Resort are all just two blocks to the beach, but you are more than welcome to sun

yourself in the "sun-drenched" courtyard at the Worthington or in the properties' heated pools and their oversized jacuzzis. At the Worthington, there are 37 rooms and amenities include plush down comforters for the beds and high-thread-count linens. Everyone will feel special after a stay at The Worthington or its sister resorts. (543-555 N. Birch Rd., Fort Lauderdale, 954-563-6819) The Grand Resort and Spa is a luxurious resort experience in the most intimate of surroundings. Located just blocks from the beach, this resort boasts 24-hour front desk service, a full-service spa, a large swimming pool, a clothing-optional garden area with a hot tub, and smartly-decorated rooms and suites. Breakfast is served complimentary each

morning and there is a "happy hour" each afternoon for guests -- what great service! (539 N. Birch Rd., Fort Lauderdale, 954-630-3003) Universal Palms Hotel offers a lot of amenities, such as dry-cleaning services, discounted shuttle service to the airport and other sights, wireless high-speed internet, a beautiful swimming pool, and a business center. There is also an on-site bar and grill. The rooms either overlook the city or the pool, both offering great views. The VIP two-room suite is their most luxurious offering -- you may not

want to leave your room! (4900 Powerline Rd., Fort Lauderdale, 954-776-4880) There are also a number of well-known national and international hotel chains represented in the area, and many of them are gay-friendly and host events and mixers for gay professionals. Consider them when you visit the area. A sampling of these hotels include W Fort Lauderdale (401 N. Fort Lauderdale Beach Blvd.), GALLERYone - A DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Hotel (2670 E. Sunrise Blvd., Fort Lauderdale), B Ocean Fort Lauderdale (999 Fort Lauderdale Blvd.), Courtyard by Marriott Fort Lauderdale (440

Seabreeze Blvd., Fort Lauderdale), Hilton Fort Lauderdale (505 N. Fort Lauderdale Beach Blvd.), Westin For t Lauderdale (XXXXXXXXXXXXX) Westin Beach Resort (321 N. Fort Lauderdale Beach Blvd.), Hyatt Regency Pier 66 (2301 SE 17th St., Fort Lauderdale), Atlantic Hotel and Spa (601 N. Fort Lauderdale Beach Blvd.), Renaissance Fort Lauderdale (1617 SE 17th St., Fort Lauderdale), and the Embassy Suites Hotel (1100 SE 17th Street Causeway, Fort Lauderdale).

discover Gay Florida Fort Lauderdale Beach is well-known for its gay and gay-friendly resorts and guesthouses. In addition to the aforementioned resorts and guesthouses we've already recommended, consider the following if you want to stay in Fort Lauderdale: the Hotel Lush Royale (2901 Terramar St.), Coral Reef Guesthouse (2609 NE

13th Ct.), Inn Leather (610 SE 19th St.), Pineapple Point (315 NE 16th Terr.), Royal Palms Resort and Spa (No longer all-male) (717 Breakers Ave.), Cheston House (520 N. Birch Rd.), Elysium Resort (552 N. Birch Rd.), Grand Palm Plaza (2801 Riomar St.)

WHERE TO PLAY Fort Lauderdale has a number of gay nightclubs and venues for the visitor as well. Le Boy (1243 NE 11th Ave.), a popular nightclub with the community, boasts lots of sexy men and very good VIP bottle service. Ramrod (1508 NE 4th Ave.) serves the leather community and the men who love them, and they offer weekly

fetish nights (Fridays) and leather nights (Sundays). Lips (1421 E. Oakland Park Blvd.) calls itself "the ultimate drag dining experience," and there's something nearly every night of the

week for the drag enthusiast. Check out Gospel Brunch with Nicolette on Sundays! Boardwalk Bar (1721 N. Andrews Ave.) is the place to check out some beefcake: on weekends, over 40+ male entertainers will be dancing for your pleasure. The Club Fort Lauderdale (110 NW 5th Ave.) is one of two gay saunas and bathhouses in the area; The

Clubhouse II (2650 E. Oakland Park Blvd.) is the other. The Club Fort Lauderdale was recently extensively remodeled, and features a patio and outdoor pool, among other amenities. The Clubhouse II hosts one of the largest leather nights in town on Tuesday nights, and a night for the bears on Thursdays. Other bars you should check out in Fort Lauderdale include J's Bar, Mona's, and Smarty Pants Bar.

WHERE TO GO Fort Lauderdale is known as the "Venice of America" due to the high number of rivers and inlets, and you can get up close to the water right in downtown by walking the "Beautiful Mile" at the Fort Lauderdale Riverwalk. The Riverwalk leads people to a number of sights

throughout the city, such as the Historic Stranahan House, the Museum of Discovery and Science, and the Broward Center for the Performing Arts. Also close by is Las Olas Boulevard, long renowned for its boutiques, galleries and sidewalk cafĂŠs. If you're not done with shopping yet, check out The Galleria at Fort Lauderdale off Sunrise Boulevard,

discover Gay Florida WHEN TO GO Tourist season slows down in the summer but there is never a bad time to visit Fort Lauderdale. If you're in the area in the fall, there are a few events you will probably be interested in. Check out the MiFo LGBT Film Festival Fort Lauderdale, one of the largest

anchored by Neiman Marcus, Macy's and Dillard's. If you're a fan of nature, Fort Lauderdale does not disappoint. The main draw of the city is the beautiful coastline with white sand beaches and crystal clear blue water of the Atlantic. With a total of 23 miles of beach in Greater Fort Lauderdale, there is a beach for everyone. Chances are you are a gay man, so you are probably looking for Sebastian Beach, named for Sebastian Street, the cross street where it's

located. There is a small public lot there, and other street parking, but get there early cause parking lots fill up quickly, especially during the tourist season. East of the Galleria is Hugh Taylor Birch State Park, which offers guided tours by foot and by Segway, as well as access to the beach. The Bonnet House Museum and Gardens is a historic house-turned-museum that features the original furnishings of two American artists.

LGBT film festivals in Florida, which is celebrating its eighth year this year. Dozens of LGBT-related films will be screened from October 7-16; visit mifofilm.com for more information. Next door in Wilton Manors, the city pulls out all the stops for the annual Wicked

Manors Celebration on Halloween night when tens of thousands of costumed revelers take over Wilton Drive for one of the fiercest Halloween parties anywhere. It's definitely worth a visit! For more information, visit WickedManors.org Pride Fort Lauderdale, which was traditionally held in the fall, has chosen a new location on the beach in Fort Lauderdale (think Where the Boys are‌!) and this year the festivities will take place on February 26, 2017. Locals and visitors alike are excited to see what new changes await For t Lauderdale's celebration of pride. For more information on Pride, visit pridefortlauderdale.org.

Season 2

Coco Montrese

It's been 4 years since the first season of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars Season 1, and we found out, almost a year ago, that it was being taped, so thank god the episodes and the drama are finally back for us all to talk about. When the episode starts Ru informs the All Stars that she will not be eliminating anybody, but rather announcing the top 2 every week who will Lip Synch for legacy. The Legacy winners will win $10,000 every week. What she didn't say, and what we found out much later in the episode, is that the winner will also choose which of the

bottom contestants go home. The first mini challenge is the iconic “Reading is Fundamental. Alaska won this. The main challenge was a Talent Show Extravaganza. Adore, CoCo and Phi-Phi were the bottom 3 and the top 2 were Tatianna and Roxxxy. Roxxxy ends up winning the lip Synch for legacy and eliminates who she thought was the weakest that week, CoCo. It was a pleasure to sit down, once again, with CoCo, just one day after being eliminated.

How has your life changed since you were on Drag Race? Life has been absolutely amazing, and I couldn't ask for anything else. I am so lucky

to be one of the chosen. One of the 100 girls to grace that stage and then to be chosen for all stars‌I feel totally blessed.

What has been some of your favorite cities to visit as RuPaul Alumni?

The European tour was great. Manchester was fabulous. Oh, and I can't forget Brazil, which was also absolutely amazing. The fans internationally are incredible.

How exciting was it to get called back for All Stars?

It was exciting and terrifying at the same time.

Did you consider not coming back, if not, how come?

It was absolutely going to be a yes, without a doubt. After I committed was when I was terrified. I knew I would be with the best of the best and I want people to see the best I have to offer.

How did you prepare differently for all stars than you did the first time on the show? I think I went into it more optimistically

and decided to take the risk of not being the typical CoCo that everyone knows, so I went for it.

Now that you have been eliminated, who do you want to win?

Alaska. In season 5 when I walked into the room, she was the only queen I did not get. Since then I have grown to love her, and I am her biggest fan right now. She has grown into this amazing performer. Alaska is my heart.

What's ahead?

I want it all. My main goal is to nurture the up and coming talents. I would love to give the new kids a place to perform at, so if there are any investors out there, Contact Me! During a recent City of Miami Beach Commission meeting, the City Commission voted unanimously to support World OutGames Miami, which will be held Friday, May 26 through Sunday, June 4, 2017. “It is great for us to have the support of the City of Miami Beach, which fosters so many great programs that improve the quality of life for its residents and attracts visitors around the world,” said Ivan Cano, chief executive officer of World OutGames Miami. “We deeply thank Mayor Philip Levine and fellow Commissioners, City Manager Jimmy Morales and staff for their vision to recognize how the WorldOutGames will inspire, motivate and unify thousands of people.” Following the recommendation of a Letter to Commission submitted by the Miami Beach LGBT Advisory Committee, the Commission unanimously approved support for World OutGames Miami including fee waivers associated with various facilities required to host the cultural, sporting and human rights events, as well as other in-kind support and operating dollars. "The World OutGames are a great opportunity to showcase Miami Beach's promotion of a healthy and athletic lifestyle and inclusive community,” said Miami Beach City Commissioner Ricky Arriola. The highly anticipated 10-day event will bring to life 34 sports and more than 450 events across the areas of Sport, Culture and Human Rights. Every four years, World OutGames brings together LGBT athletes,

many from countries where homosexuality remains illegal and hidden. In the spirit of true inclusiveness, World OutGames is open to all, regardless of sexual orientation. World OutGames Miami recently launched advanced registration for participants, which is available online at outgames.org. Athletes who register before September 1, 2016 can save $100 USD. The comprehensive registration package includes admission to Opening and Closing Ceremonies, access to OPEN sports and culture events, access to Festival Village and much more. In addition to funding from the City of Miami Beach, World OutGames Miami is made possible through the support of the Florida Sports Foundation, Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau, Miami Beach Visitor and Convention Authority and Miami Sports, Miami Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs Council, the Miami Dade County Mayor and Board of County Commissioners. World OutGames Miami will do more than challenge the body and capture hearts of participants and spectators. It will open minds with compelling and current insights about the LGBTQI community from international thought leaders, as well as the athletes who come to compete. The LGBTQI Human Rights Conference is positioned to be the most powerful global gathering of internationally respected human rights activists, researchers, legal scholars and trade organizations. Whether you're a member of the LGBTQI community, an ally, or simply interested in how the journey toward equality is progressing, our LGBTQI Human Rights Conference will educate, inform and inspire you.

Companies and community organizations interested in supporting World OutGames are encouraged to contact Ben Walter at bwalter@outgames.org.For more information about World OutGames Miami, visitwww.outgames.org.

Mind Your Manors 2045 Wilton Drive Wilton Manors, FL 33305 754.223.2172

ast week , I had the pleasure of meeting my friend Tony at Mind Your Manors (2045 Wilton Drive) in Wilton Manors for a couple of cocktails and an early delicious dinner. I wasn't sure what to expect since I hadn't been to this local spot since it opened 2 years ago, but I really am glad that I had the chance to sample their menu and I will definitely be back soon to try some other dishes that looked really good. Mind Your Manors is a rather large restaurant and bar, that features a beautifully decorated interior that harkens to Asia with red, black and gold highlights. There is also a large patio area in front of the restaurant which is separated by large garage doors that can be opened when it's not so hot. Our waitress, Shannon, directed us to choose any open seat we wanted and she quickly had us sipping on a couple of hand crafted cocktails that really hit the spot after a long day at work. Tony decided on the Basil Mojito ($12) and I had a Hilhaven Old Fashioned ($12). You really can't go wrong with a mojito. Mind Your Manors makes theirs with Kettle One Citroen, elderflower liquor, and fresh basil. The basil and vodka make it delicious but give it a certain jenesequa lacking in a mojito. Sweetness doesn't overpower the drink- it compliments it. As for my Hilhaven Old

Fashioned it was deliciously strong. My granny always said that whiskey would put hair on my chest- I guess she was right but I try to stay away from brown liquor. I made an exception and I'm glad I did. The orange garnish and cherries add the perfect finish for this spirit. Tony and I got things started off with the Asian chicken Wings ($10) which are grilled wings tossed in sweet and spicy sauce and

topped with scallions and toasted sesame seeds. They are a bit spicy, but not too much heat, but there is very nice flavor developed in the glaze. These are not your average buffalo wings- they are much better.

We followed the wings with a taco trio. The menu features 7 different types of tacos, we decided on three. The first was the chicken tender tacos ($13). Our comment: “everything is better with bacon. Each taco contains a generous portion of fried chicken that is not overly battered and is very flavorful with a bit of ranch dressing to keep it from being dried out. Our second choice was the blackened chicken fajita taco ($13) served smothered in onions and peppers and topped with a

cilantro lime mayo that is outstanding. Just like fajitas except no hot plate! Our final taco choice was the MYM classic taco ($12). This one contains spicy ground beef mixture is tasty. It is a good taco that will definitely satisfy your Mexican food craving way better than Taco Bell and they are open till midnight on the weekend so stop in for a late night bite! The tacos are served with refried beans topped with melted cheese and a side of steamed rice. I know it seems hard to believe but we still had entrees coming! We decided to split the blackened prime rib sandwich ($15) and the chicken piccata ($16) The prime rib steak was cooked perfectly and was very tender. It is served mixed greens on top with versatile garlic mayo (it was on the top and the bottom). The sandwich is accompanied by a side of sweet potato fries which are served with a yummy marshmallow dipping sauce- it

was like dinner and dessert on the same plate. In a word, outstanding. The dipping sauce was like a thick viscous crispy cream doughnut melted into a ramekin. The chicken piccata is a thick chicken breast, lightly dredged through flour, fried, then topped with a creamy lemon butter sauce and lots of tart capers. The dish is served with side of rice and roasted Brussels sprouts. For dessert, (can you believe we still had room for dessert?) we had Key lime pie ($7) served up with a side of whipped cream. This tart cheese cake style key lime pie was the perfect way to finish off a truly delicious meal. For those who don't love key lime pie but who still want dessert, they offer a warm brownie with ice cream ($7). Mind Your Manors is owner Robert DeCampo's first restaurant, but he comes from a restaurant family, his grandparents owned seafood restaurants on Maryland's Eastern shore. The South Florida native remembers visiting them during the summer and catching crabs off of their dock. You will find several dishes that pay homage to his childhood near the Chesapeake Bay. The soft shell crab sandwich ($20) has rave reviews from guests who travel from Weston and Miami to get a taste of this delicacy, you will be hard pressed to find another one anywhere in Wilton Manors or even Fort Lauderdale. Just thinking of the old bay seasoning and crispy battered soft shell crab, has this old eastern shore boy's mouth watering for a taste of home. Mind Your Manors is open daily at noon. As I mentioned earlier, they are open till midnight on Friday and Saturday and close at 10pm the rest of the week. They have drink specials every day as well as $2 tacos on Tuesday. Stop in for lunch or dinner, you won't be disappointed. And tell

Zika

Why Gay or Bisexual Men Should Also be Concerned By Alan Briones, MD FHM

Zika is here in South Florida! The Florida Department of Health has reported confirmed local transmissions of Zika in areas of Wynwood and South Beach. Active Zika transmission affects countries in South America, Central America and territories in the Caribbean; and it only took a few months before it reached our shores. The virus is primarily transmitted by Aedes species of mosquitoes. The infection is more serious for pregnant women because it is linked to the birth defect microcephaly (small head with underdeveloped brain). Although gay and bisexual men don't have to worry about getting

Aedes Mosquitoes pregnant, the virus can be sexually transmitted. In February 2016, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported confirmed cases of unprotected sexual transmission of the virus, from symptomatic males with Zika, to their female partners. It is of public health importance to stop the spread of this virus. Although the focus of

public health education is among pregnant or trying-to-be-pregnant women, and their male partners, we cannot under emphasize that; men who have sex with men also engage in unprotected sex and are therefore vulnerable in acquiring Zika! It is not yet

known how long the virus can be infectious in the semen, but it is known that it can still be detected as long as 2 months after symptoms have disappeared. First and foremost, prevention is the best intervention. Currently, there is no vaccine to acquire immunity against Zika. So, until one is developed, we should be protecting ourselves. Here are a few simple steps to help protect yourself and the ones you love. 1. Cover up. In South Florida, this may be an arduous task! Wear long sleeved shirts and long pants when outdoors. You can also treat the clothing with insect repellant. 2. Dusk and Dawn. Avoid outdoor

activities at these times because the Aedes mosquitoes are most active. Be careful, these mosquitoes are also found in dark and cool places. They bite under your seat or feed on your ankles. Stay indoors when dining at restaurants. 3. Drain and remove any standing and stagnant water around your home. Mosquitoes lay their eggs there.

4. DEET up. Use EPA approved insect repellants. 5. Close doors and windows and make sure screens don't have holes in them. 6. Cover up in the bedroom too! Use a condom during sex. The symptoms of Zika are often mild, last for several days and resolve spontaneously, so that even those who get infected may not be aware that they have acquired it. However, it

has been linked to Guillain-Barre syndrome, a neurologic condition that causes nerve damage leading to paralysis. It can also cause encephalomyelitis or inflammation of the brain and spinal cord due to a viral illness.

The most common Zika symptoms are as follows: · Fever · Rash (usually itchy) · Joint pains · Conjunctivitis (“red” eyes) · Muscle pains · Headache

If you experience any of these symptoms, see a healthcare provider right away. Zika can be diagnosed with blood or urine tests. Currently, there is no specific medicine and only supportive care to relieve symptoms.

If you have travelled to Zika-infected areas, the CDC recommends not to have unprotected sex until after eight weeks (if you do NOT have symptoms) or six months (if you have symptoms or have been infected). You may not be in the business of procreation and making babies, but is of outmost importance that we do not propagate the virus by getting infected. For more information, visit the following websites http://www.cdc.gov/zika/index.html http://www.floridahealth.gov/diseasesand-conditions/zika-virus/ Dr. Alan Briones is a Hospitalist and and Internal Medicine specialist at the University of Miami Health System.

//Christopher Ciccone//

nd while my sister Madonna wanders around Cuba in a red caddy.....lets hope that she remembers the oppression of the press, political opposition, the gay community and the anti hero Che....who was just as brutal and murderous as Stalin....he just didn't have as many people to kill...thats all."-Christopher Ciccone's Facebook post about Madonna visiting Cuba. Frankly, I'd rather take my chances pissing off Castro than Chris' sister! Last week was Big Mama Masters' 75th birthday. As the dutiful son, I wielded what little clout I have and arranged to bring her to see Barbra Streisand in Boston. We were seated on the floor about halfway back choice seats. Halfway through the first act, she excitedly whispered, "I wish I could see her up close". From that point onward, I could hear her wheels turning, and half expected to see my mother crawling onstage behind the percussion section! During the intermission, I brought her to meet the director (and benefactor of our tickets), Richard Jay-Alexander. He said he was happy to make it a special birthday and hoped she was having a great time. My ever-gracious mother said, "It's wonderful I just wish I could see Barbra up close." RJA was somewhat taken aback. "But you're pretty close to the stage, and you can also

//Danell Leyva// look up at the monitors." "Yes," said Mama, "but I mean up close like I am to you!" And you people wonder where I got my balls?! All hell broke loose in Rio, and you surely don't need me to recap what Ryan Lochte refers to as his "immature antics"! But a key part of this kerfuffle has gotten lost in the shuffle - and it's a part I can definitely identify with. The whole thing got started because Lochte's mother has loose lips! OK, she didn't ask to sit next to Streisand, but she's the first one who told reporters Ryan had been held up at gunpoint. Why Ryan told his mother this fib is a mystery - I suspect he was trying to cover up why he was out so late and came home drunk (something else I'm sure we can all relate to). Once all is said and done, there are only two important points: 1) Ryan has finally dyed his hair back to a semi-natural color, and B) he's still hot and we'd all f#$k him - at gunpoint, if necessary! Let's move swiftly along to Danell Leyva, the US gymnast I previously reported about (and shared several skin shots of, which you can find on BillyMasters.com). At the Rio Gymnastics Gala following the competition, Danell took the "exhibition" part literally. Shortly after he mounted (so to speak) the parallel bars, he stood on top of them doing what looked like a samba...and then took off his top. While it was hot, it wasn't as sizzling as when Russian gymnast Alexei Nemov took off his top before pommeling the horse at the Atlanta Olympic Expo in 1996.

Although NBC did not acknowledge Dustin Lance Black sitting with Daley's mom during the synchronized diving at the beginning of the Olympics, they did point him out during the platform diving near the end of the fortnight. "For three Olympics, we've seen Tom Daley with Team Daley. His mom has been a constant presence. Now, with his fiancĂŠ, who Tom refers to as Lance, Dustin Lance Black, Academy Award-winning screenwriter for the very powerful film 'Milk'". Who says social media (and Billy Masters) can't change the world? Or a Streisand concert? Nonetheless, it was ultimately a disappointing time in Rio for Daley. He broke the Olympic record in the platform diving preliminaries, only to finish last in the semifinals the following day. He vows to come back in four years. I have known David Hernandez since his time on "American Idol". We've performed at gay pride festivals, we've hung out socially, and we've talked about almost everything. And somehow, I never realized he wasn't openly gay. Oops! Well, he's out now. Last week, he released the single "Beautiful", and used it as a platform to open up about his private life. Not only is the song beautiful, but so is the video. Hernandez explained the message: "If you're missing a leg, you're still beautiful. If you're overweight, you're still beautiful. If you are 75 years old, you're still beautiful. That's why I wanted to share my own story as a gay man." And, David, you are beautiful.

//David Hernandez//

This week's "Ask Billy" question comes from Gary in New York: "With all these hot Olympians and rumors of rampant sex in the village, how is it possible you haven't gotten any nude photos or videos? You're slipping!" You may slip off the keyboard watching the j#$k-off videos we got featuring Brazilian gymnasts Arthur Zanetti (silver medal, rings), Arthur Mariano (bronze medal, floor exercises), and Sergio Sasaki. Mariano is the most provocative. He's nude and fully (and substantially) erect. He appears to be Skyping with a female friend when a rather hot teammate wanders into the bathroom. To fill in the gaps, check out BillyMasters.com. When the Brazilians are sweeping the medals in masturbation, it's definitely time to end yet another column. Once again, happy birthday, Mama. And to all of you out there, always be good to mothers - because they will give birth to your ex-boyfriends of tomorrow! And be sure to check out www.BillyMasters.com - the mother of all gossip sites. If you have a question for me, send it along to Billy@BillyMasters.com, and I promise to get back to you before David Hernandez starts dating a one-legged, overweight, 75-year-old gay man! Until next time, remember, one man's filth is another man's bible.

Remember what TLC said about no scrubs? Yeah, a scrub is a guy who can't get no love from us, either! Whether it's sweating profusely on the job, heating up the kitchen or commanding a courtroom, we love a man who can get his hands dirty, create a masterpiece or flex his brain power. Although there is more to a person than what he does for work, a successful career is certainly an important component for creating a confident, well-rounded member of society. Labor Day celebrates the working people of the world, so we've highlighted 10 of the hottest jobs for men played by some of the sexiest actors in Hollywood. The long weekend might be the perfect time to binge watch these men in action!

#1 // Pilots have complete control over the skies and were once thought of to be just as glamorous as movie stars. Who could forget Tom Cruise as Maverick in Top Gun? #2 // Lawyers expect the utmost honesty from their clients, which makes them extremely good listeners. They exude power, confidence and intelligence. Don't miss Matthew McConaughey as Mick Haller in The Lincoln Lawyer. #3 // Chefs work under enormous amounts of pressure and create incredible masterpieces for our edible pleasure. If you're a food lover, you've struck gold if you find a chef to date. Bradley Cooper whipped us into a frenzy as Adam Jones in Burnt. #4 // Teachers possess the necessary enthusiasm to keep their pupils motivated and are responsible for educating the future—that's a lot of power! Who hasn't had a crush on his teacher or professor at some point during high school or college? We'd love to have Justin Timberlake, who played as Scott Delacorte in Bad Teacher, teach us a few things.

#5 // Police Officers are here to protect and serve, and we definitely love a man in uniform. Everyone needs a little authority enforced once in a while. One of the major perks of dating a cop is he has access to handcuffs! To satisfy your police officer fantasy, check out Christopher Meloni as Detective Elliot Stabler in Law & Order SVU. #6 // Doctors save lives, and there is nothing hotter than that! They are extremely smart, caring and also know the human body inside and out. Jackpot! An actor who made our heart skip a beat is Eric Dane as Dr. Mark Sloan (McSteamy) in Grey's Anatomy.

#7 // Firefighters

are perhaps the hottest of all—no pun intended! From extinguishing burning buildings to saving baby kittens, firefighters are fearless, confident and heroic. They also have the strength to use big hoses and slide down poles when duty calls. An actor we love watching save the day is Mark Wahlberg as Tommy Corn in I Heart Huckabees.

Who are some of your favorite working men of Hollywood? Let us know on Facebook!

GENRE CULTURIZATE Con Teddy y Adora

¿No?

Speaking of paradox right? It's all drama so that's kind of consistent…in a Baroque sort of way. I'd love to see the thing performed. Adora: Yes, me too. But in the PAMM show the intent is to recreate a lost history of Queer Culture before the arrival of the Europeans, so it's more than just LGBTQ culture; it's also about the way repressed cultural expression is not recorded, so the people who bear that particular identity are historically deleted…invisible….as if they 'd never existed. Teddy Behr: Mmmmmmm…. I can just imagine what those sailors and 'cabin boys' on those long voyages, and the Pelota players and warriors, not to mention the wig-stylists and feathered head dress designers of that era must have gotten into…that must have been so 'Don't ask / Don't Tell.'

Adora: Teddy, we have to get back to PAMM, Perez Art Museum, Miami to see the work of Carlos Motta; I love their new building and this artist, he's from Columbia originally, is creating work about LGBTQ history before the arrival of the Europeans to theAmericas. Te d d y B e h r : Ye a h I s a w t h e announcement and the small gold figurine- very enigmatic. I looked him up online and saw a lot more cool images; including one of a performance called 'Requiem', although, that may have been more about AFTER the arrival of the Europeans…I'm guessing. Adora: Oh that…mmmm that;'s pretty intense: It reminds me of the old paintings of Catholic Saints being martyred…Funny the way they were so homoerotic while the Church was, at least overtly, very anti-Gay at the same time. Anyway I'm used to contradiction and paradox at this point…But it's great these have been performed and photographed. They are very vivid. Teddy Behr: Yeah, like 'THAT HAPPENED. And in the second part of the performance Italian performer / singer Ernesto Tomasini sings 'Libera Me' from a 19th century 'Requiem' dressed in a black feather and tulle number.

So if you're in the mood to ASK, and to TELL, check out Carlos Motta at Pamm. The show runs through January 15, 2017.

WOODY PUT YOUR BEST FACE FORWARD

H

ey Woody, I recently signed up with some hook-up Apps after watching my roommate reelin' in soo many hotties the odometer in his bed exploded. Me? Nothing. Haven't gotten laid since I got online. There are plenty of hot guys on the sites but I only get a fraction of the hits my roommate does. And you know what really chaps my ass? I'm better looking than him! I'm not bragging—it's the truth. So why does my roommate have so much better luck online than I do? Is it my profile? Are there profile 'musts' that I don't know about? – Jealous and Horny Dear Jealous: You remind me of the story about the young adult who comes into the Confessional and says, "Bless me, Father, for I have sinned. I have committed the sin of Vanity. Twice a day, and sometimes more, I gaze at myself in the mirror and tell myself how beautiful I am." The priest pauses, leans in closer to get a better look and says, "My son, I have good news. That isn't a sin. It's a mistake.” I kid--you’re probably good-looking. Your profile? Probably--eh. Beginners usually have profiles that are so bad they remind me of Mink Stole's immortal line in Female Trouble: "I wouldn't suck your lousy dick if I was suffocating and there was oxygen in your balls."

Here's what you need to turn things around and get Mink and the boys knocking on your cyber door: 1. Show your face. Profiles with face shots get more hits. Sorry--it’s the truth. Here's what most people would think if they saw your headless body: a) It must be hard for you to chew food without a mouth b) You're a closet case who's going to make them sign a confidentiality agreement before they go home with you c) You've probably got a face that would knock a buzzard off a gut wagon d) You're somebody's boyfriend and you don't want him or his friends seeing you online. Would you expect guys to approach you in a bar if they couldn't see your face? Then why would you expect guys online to do it? Put your face pics in your profile and I promise your hit rate will go up. 2. Smile in your photos. Smiling is the second best thing you can do with your lips. It's also a shortcut to the bedroom. A smile is an invitation. Think of it as the welcome mat to your crotch. 3. Be Kind. A lot of profiles state shit like, "Disease free and intend to stay that way." That's not only insulting to HIV+ guys but to their negative friends as well. If HIV is that big an issue for you (and it shouldn't be—ever heard of safe sex?) then at least write, "Please be HIV negative. Thanks." Ask for what you want without being cruel. The same goes for that awful "no fats or fems" line. How about, "Prefer lean and masculine guys?" There's such a thing as Online Karma. Fix your profile and your Karma will stop running over your Dogma.
