DEPRIVED OF YOUR SENSES Communication takes on a different perspective if you’re suddenly robbed of your senses. You will need to employ alternative methods to reach your objective. Can you work together to assemble an exact copy of a model you only had a brief glimpse of? Think outside the box and learn to cooperate in different ways.

CAUGHT IN THE MIDDLE What is the most effective way to pass on communication when you’re not in direct contact with the recipient?

Multi-link communication can lead to misunderstandings, so to challenge your communication skills you’re asked to build a LEGO ® figure based on instructions passed on from the communicator via an intermediary to the builder. As recipients of the model, is the end result the same as the one on the manager’s table?

MAKE ’EM SPIN Release your creativity and test your skills of cooperation. Using a limited set of rules, you’re asked to assemble a wind turbine and make its rotors spin.

THINK BIGGER Work together to build a 1-metre tall LEGO ® figure from a miniature version without the aid of building instructions! VALUES Many people have difficulty understanding the values of their organisation.

Hardly surprising as these are often rather abstract ideas. We have developed a series of communication exercises using the LEGO® brick and based on the visions and values of your organisation. The aim is to create an overview.

BUILDING BRIDGES Connect employees and values by building individual parts of a coherent model. This exercise requires teamwork, verbalisation, consensus and rapid decision-making. Working together, you must build a bridge which clearly symbolises and communicates the values of your organisation.

STAYING THE COURSE Verbalising career aspirations for your job assignments can be difficult, and agreeing on them in-house can be even more difficult. In this exercise, you must build a ship and agree on a course to reach a common destination – a process which requires cooperation in pairs and in teams, and which results in a common understanding of each other’s roles and skill sets.

READY FOR ACTION Sometimes, all you need is to have fun together. And what better way to have fun than with spirited competition? Fancy beating your know-it-all colleague or going toe-to-toe in an alternative Olympic discipline? We can arrange that.

LEGOLAND® PENTATHLON Our pentathlon consists of five fun competitions centred around the LEGOLAND activities. Combine quick thinking with creativity to win – and don’t forget to have fun. Be honest: wouldn’t you like to have another go at the Traffic School?

Charlotte Fruergaard presents a range of easy and specific techniques to help you focus on the here-and-now, block the automatic train of thought and perform to the best of your ability. The notion of mindfulness is based on ancient Oriental teachings of how the human mind works. The teachings are adapted to the Western context to produce a set of tools that are easy to implement in your everyday life.

LEGOLAND® BACKSTAGE TOUR Would you like to experience LEGOLAND® in a new way? Then join us for a guided behind-the-scenes tour, and get the full story from the opening in 1968 to today.

See the various workshops and find out what it takes to run the theme park. Check out selected theme areas and several of the famous monuments. En route your guide will dish out fascinating stories, interesting anecdotes and impressive LEGO building facts. Feel free to ask questions during the tour and afterwards.

They’re also ideal for teambuilding events. Steering a matchracer is as varied as it is challenging, making it the perfect team challenge. GPS ADVENTURE Effective communication, cooperation and modern technology are all key to completing the GPS Adventure – a technological orienteering race of finding your way through the plantation and solving puzzles. Individual teams each select members to man the field and base. The field teams are equipped with a GPS tracker, which is used by the base team to guide their team mates through a series of checkpoints in the area using LIVE tracking, computers and mobile phones. The teams solve various theoretical puzzles at the checkpoints.

GPS Adventure is held in two halves, allowing everyone to experience the roles of each team. The team that best optimises communication, improves teamwork, prioritises assignments and earns the most points wins the challenge.

BILLUND AIR CENTRE – PILOT FOR A DAY Ready for take-off? Are you and your colleagues budding pilots? Now is your chance to live out the dream with our Pilot for a day event! In cooperation with Billund Air Centre, we offer flying lessons (plane or helicopter) for small groups of people. Following a detailed training session, we’ll take to the skies. If you’re up for it, you can captain the aircraft for a while. Should your nerves get the better of you, however, the view alone is worth the trip.

MAKE YOUR OWN MOVIE Aaaand action! Fancy a different kind of teambuilding?

Why not test your creativity while sharing some laughs with our Make your own movie event? This is a unique opportunity to write, direct and produce your very own short film, and become directors, stage managers, cameramen, make-up artists, sound engineers and actors for a day. This is a team effort through and through. You’ll be given the chance to challenge your own creativity and that of your colleagues in a fun way. Once the final scene is wrapped, professional editors will edit and finalise your short film. That evening, we will host a grand Award Show featuring all short films and present the award for Best Short Film. Champagne and prizes will of course be presented to the winners. It sounds simple enough, but recognising your team’s full potential and understanding the optimum role of each team member is an art.

Based on the strategies, values and everyday challenges facing your organisation, we will analyse the strengths, weaknesses and potential of your team in detail. The preliminary analysis acts as the basis for the entire process, in which the team discusses experiences and performs exercises against a theoretical backdrop.
