GED ® Test Preparation Accelerated GED® Prep (English) For students who have passed at least three (3) or more sections on the official GED® This course is designed for students who have passed three or more sections of the GED® exam, and just need a brief review to strengthen their skills. Course content will focus on the helping students build their reading comprehension skills, strengthen their critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and developing basic test-taking strategies. The majority of the class will focus on analyzing and answering practice questions. Students will also learn some basic test-taking “tricks” and take simulated practice exams to improve their time.
Introducing the TASC! (Free Workshops) Beginning January 2014, the TASC (Test Assessing Secondary Completion) will replace the GED® as the New York State approved exam for individuals who wish to achieve a high school equivalency diploma. This workshop will offer a brief overview of the exam content and how you can begin to prepare. Come join us and learn more about what to expect in 2014.

GED® Screening Test Schedule

All students who wish to enroll in GED ® preparation courses are required to take the GED® screening test. You will receive a printout of your Official Practice Test (OPT) score and GED ® prediction scores. The screening will take place every other Thursday at a cost of $20 cash.
GED® course fee is $265 You must be at least 19 years old to register with appropriate identification verifying your age. No friends or children will be allowed at the testing site. Please bring two #2 pencils and be on time for the test.
