We are thrilled that so much progress has been on the construction of the Dozoretz Hospice House of Hampton Roads In July, we had the "Topping Off" of the house -- the last beam of the exterior construction was put in place

In August, we were honored to have Virginia Beach City Council Members Barbara Henley and Amelia Ross Hammond, who is also and HHHR board member, tour the site
We want to again thank the Hospice One Design Regatta Committee, chaired by HHHR Board Member, Dr John Kenerson, and the Battle of the Paddles Pickleball Committee, chaired by Lucy Newman, for raising a combined total of $50,000 earlier this year! HHHR is honored to be included in Old Dominion University’s State of the Region Hampton Roads 2023 The report -- sponsored by the local Chambers of Commerce -- examines serious disease and hospice care in the United States and Virginia It explores the demand for hospice care by Medicare beneficiaries as well as the changing nature of hospice care suppliers as now more than two-thirds of hospices nationwide operate as for-profit entities. It should be noted that HHHR is a community-led nonprofit The report scans our region for care services for the seriously ill and asks: What is the state of end-of-life care in Hampton Roads?
