In a community of Hornets who share a passion for learning and leadership, the Honors College allows you to engage with your education and your community on a deeper level.

At Emporia State University, you’re not alone. Student services like tutoring, mental healthcare, career services and more are available to you any time you need a boost throughout your college career.
The on-campus Student Wellness Center offers treatment for acute illnesses and minor injuries, immunizations, physicals and more. You also have access to mental health services, including five free counseling appointments per semester for on-campus students!
Academic support services like tutoring, writing help and workshops are always available in the Academic Center for Excellence and Success (or ACES!).
Career Services can help you apply for internships, write a resume or find a career path. And once you graduate, their services are still available to you as an alum.

In 2024, Emporia State University rolled out a net decrease in tuition and fees — a first in Kansas state higher education institution history! Plus, we’re offering tons of brand-new stackable scholarship awards, many which are awarded automatically when you submit your transcripts.

You’ve worked hard throughout your academic career! The Presidential Scholarship Program rewards you for your academic achievement with an automatically awarded renewable scholarship based on your GPA or ACT score. This scholarship is available to freshmen and transfer students.
