Clean it with a dry cloth or kitchen towel.
Cleaning Underneath the Hood:
The process of cleaning the hood from underneath is to steam it by boiling the water on the stove that is fitted under the hood. So, Fill a bowl of water and put it on the stove on high flame. Let the water boil for at least half an hour. The steam will help to remove the stickiness underneath the hood. But you have to do this after removing the hot pot from the stove otherwise the steam can harm you too. You can also use a scrub or cleaning agent if needed. Now clean it with a dry cloth.
Time for Cleaning Filters:
Range hood cleaning from the outside or underneath is frequent. But you need not worry about cleaning the filters on a daily basis. Check these on a monthly basis and if they appear stained or splattered, you should clean them or replace them immediately.
If you have charcoal or fiber filters don’t try to wash or clean them. Replacing is the only option available for these types of filters.
If you have a range hood with metal filters then you can clean them by soaking them in hot water.
Hot water will remove the stickiness from the filters and you can clean the stubborn particles with a bristle brush by putting some cleaning agent into the water.
After washing them, repeat the same tap with the dry towel step and insert these as before.
