The Honors Program is a challenging academic experience that empowers students to shape their own life’s purpose in the context of today’s broader social structures. Our curriculum focuses students’ curiosity on both timeless questions and current ethical conundrums—positioning them to engage with today’s complex social and cultural issues.

Our curriculum builds from introductory seminars that introduce students to the common good framework and its relevance to their personal, academic and civic life, to a senior seminar in which students work with a faculty mentor on a sustained research project that addresses pressing issues facing their community, discipline, or professional field.
In the Honors Program students wrestle with enduring questions of right and wrong. They see the relevance of both timeless questions and cutting-edge critique in tackling today’s most pressing challenges
Our students become better leaders, and learn to stay cool under pressure. They practice critical thinking and build academic stamina for a future in law, criminal justice, diplomacy, academia, government any career they have a passion for.
