Hong Kong Tours: A Day Trip to Victoria Peak

 Victoria Peak, or simply "the Peak", as it is more popularly known, is one of Hong Kong's most popular tourist attractions.  Offering those stunning postcard views of the metropolis for which Hong Kong is so much known all over the world.  Most visitors arrive to the Peak by the Peak Tram, and while this historic tram is certainly one of Hong Kong must dos, as well as one of the world's most scenic rides, there are other exciting ways to get to the peak...

 Our day starts in Central, from where we take bus No. 15 to the Peak: The bus leaves once every 10 minutes, from 6am till midnight, and has stops next to Star Ferry Terminus, as well as at the bus terminus of Exchange Square (if coming from Central MTR station), and in Admiralty .  Our first destination is Bowen Road: Drop off at the bus stop next to the Hong Kong Adventist Hospital, on Stubbs Road, and walk down to the small roundabout.  Just a few steps below the stop, from where you can enter the pedestrian's only street.

 If you have plenty of time and museums are your thing, ride one more stop up Stubbs Road, to Wan Chai Gap Road and take a short walk to the Hong Kong Police Museum (HKPM) on neighboring Coombe Road.  The museum focuses on the history of the city's police force and boasts more than a few interesting exhibits, including old uniforms, firearms, hand painted portraits of 19th century senior officers and more... Entrance is free.
