Pamela A. “Pam” Weber
Pamela A. “Pam” Weber, age 60 of Sauk Centre, passed away unexpectedly after a short battle with cancer on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at the St. Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud, Minnesota. A memorial service was held Monday, November 8 at the Sauk Centre United Methodist Church in Sauk Centre with Rev. Jacob Holck officiating. A private inurnment will be held at a later date. Pamela Annette Martinson was born April 15, 1961 in Little Falls, Minnesota to Roy and Gladys (Covel) Martinson. She graduated from Little Falls High School in 1979 and furthered her education at the Regency Beauty College in St. Cloud, graduating in 1980. On January 15, 1983 she was united in marriage to James “Jim” Weber at Randall Presbyterian Church in Randall. Pam worked at the printing press at Camp Ripley. She was secretary for the United Church of Christ and United Methodist Churches in Sauk Centre for 39 years. Pam worked at local restaurants including Pizza Hut and Hardee’s, and for the past 14 years was in administration and a bookkeeper at McDonald’s. She was a member of Sauk Centre United Methodist Church in Sauk Centre. Pam’s family was the most important thing in her life. She cherished the time they spent traveling, fishing, and just being together. Pam loved gardening and her flowers, enjoyed crocheting, scrapbooking and anything crafts, baking, and was recently learning how to quilt. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy; they meant the world to her. Survivors include her husband, Jim Weber of Sauk Centre; children, Russ (Heather) Weber of Brook Park and Madolyn Weber of Sauk Centre; stepchildren, Janel Deel of Alexandria and Robbie (Jessica) Weber of Sauk Centre; six grandchildren, Kaitlin (C.J.), Paige, Tyler, Jaida, Alexia, and Matthew; great-grandchild, Quinn; brother, Curt (Jan) Martinson of Randall; and sister, Kathy Martinson of Sauk Centre. She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Gladys Martinson; and brother, Jim Martinson. Arrangements were made with Patton-Schad Funeral & Cremation Services of Sauk Centre.

Kathy I. Funk
Kathy I. Funk, age 73, of Sauk Centre, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Wednesday, November 3, 2021, at the St. Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud, Minnesota. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial was held Monday, November 8 at Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church in Sauk Centre with Rev. Rick Aubol officiating. Inurnment was in the parish cemetery. Kathleen Irene Austing was born on March 23, 1948, to Bernard and Rogaria (Stoerman) Austing. Kathy graduated from Melrose High School. After moving to the metro area with her former husband Jerry and having two children, Jason and Josh, they moved back to Melrose and opened Funky’s Bar and Restaurant. After getting divorced, Kathy moved to Sauk Centre and moved in with her current partner, Larry Marthaler. In 1986, Kathy and Larry opened the Mustang Bar. Over the next 18 years that she owned the Mustang, the bar patrons became her extended family, and Kathy became family to the patrons. Kathy was truly a woman who loved and cared for everyone that she knew. She brought joy and kindness to everyone she encountered. Through the very end, Kathy still enjoyed cheering for the Gophers, Vikings, & NASCAR. Other pastimes included reading, shopping on QVC, jewelry, camping, boating, and spoiling her four grandchildren! Survivors include her significant other, Larry Marthaler of Sauk Centre; sons, Jason (Holly) Funk of Park Rapids and Josh (Sylena) Funk of Woodbury, grandchildren, Logan, Emily, Samantha, and Boston Funk; sisters and brothers, Carol (Maurie) Stangler of Melrose, Patty Klaphake of Albany, Linda (Bernie) Beuning of St. Cloud, Ron (Toni) Austing of St. Rosa, Marilyn (Jerry) Breth of St. Cloud, and Karen (Dave) Mueller of St. Rosa; sisters-in-law, Dorts Austing of Freeport, Carole Austing of Big Birch Lake, and Judy Austing of Inver Grove Heights; and ex-husband, Jerry (Susan) Funk of Grey Eagle. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Ervin, Rich, and Mel Austing; and brotherin-law, Jim Klaphake. Ambrose J. Herdering
A m b r o s e J. “Amby” Herdering, age 77 of St. Rosa, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on Sunday, November 7, 2021 at the St. Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud, Minnesota, due to Covid 19. A Private Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held will be held at a later date. Inurnment will be held in the parish cemetery. Ambrose Joseph Herdering was born April 6, 1944 in St. Rosa, Minnesota to August and Theresa (Stoermann) Herdering. He was united in marriage to Bertha Gerads on June 10, 1965 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in St. Francis, Minnesota. Ambrose was a man on the move. He was proud of his family and U.S. Heavy Equipment Brokerage Company. He traveled many places and met many faces. That is what he loved, meeting people. He was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in St. Rosa. Survivors include his soulmate and wife of 56 years, Bertha (Gerads) Herdering of St. Rosa; four children, Ken Herdering (DeAnna Anderson) of Big Lake, Linda (Dennis) Fuchs of St. Cloud, Shirley Herdering (Josh Arnold) of Avon, and Allen Herdering of Freeport; grandchildren, Mitchell (Lindsay) Herdering of Avon, Heidi (Cody) Roos of Buffalo, and Madison Fuchs; great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Tolefson, Aubree Roos, and Brantley Roos; brothers and sisters, Anna (Elmer) Hellermann of St. Rosa, Alvin (Carol) Herdering of St. Rosa, Joe (Kathy) Herdering of St. Rosa, Alfred (Marlene) Herdering of St. Rosa. Amby was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Bernard “Ben” Herdering; and sisters, Angeline Arnzen and Marie Wielenberg. Memorials are preferred. Theodore C. Kaminski
Theodore C. “Ted” Kaminski, age 82, of Sauk Centre, passed away peacefully, Thursday, November 4, 2021 at the St. Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud, Minnesota. A Mass of Christian Burial was held Tuesday, November 9 at Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church in Sauk Centre with Rev. Jeremy Theis officiating. Burial was held Wednesday, November 10 at Sunset Memorial Cemetery in Minneapolis. Theodore Chad Kaminski was born November 7, 1938 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Theodore and Marguerite (Lane) Kaminski. He married Barbara Gramhill on June 25, 1960 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Minneapolis. In 1962, Ted enlisted in the National Guard, completing his term. He sold real estate for a few years before working as a tax assessor for the State of Minnesota and City of Anoka. Ted was involved in assessing farmland to make way for Highway 94. After retiring in 2000, Ted and Barbara purchased a farm near Padua and built a cabin on Little Sauk Lake. Ted’s best quality was his stubbornness. He enjoyed fishing and was great at fixing things. He could fix anything and didn’t stop working on it until it was fixed. Ted was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church and the National Rifle Association (NRA). Survivors include his wife, Barbara Kaminski of Sauk Centre; sons, Dean (Patty) Kaminski of Columbia Heights, Jon Kaminski of Minneapolis, and Ted (Tracy) Kaminski of Brooklyn Park; grandchildren, Jenny (Joe) Tiemann, Tyler Kaminski, Jon Jon Kaminski, Anthony Kaminski, and Teresa Kaminski; sisters-in-law, Suzanne Kaminski of Minneapolis and Kimberly Kaminski of Columbia Heights; and many nieces and nephews. Ted was preceded in death by his parents; sister and brothers, Joan Oglesbee, Timothy Kaminski, and Jaime Kaminski; and brother-in-law, Wesley Oglesbee. Arrangements were made with Patton-Schad Funeral & Cremation Services of Sauk Centre.
Edward Stanley Kantor
Edward Stanley Kantor, 80, of Opole, Minnesota entered into eternal life on November 2, 2021. A Mass of Christian Burial celebrating his life will be Thursday, November 11th at 11 AM with Visitation at 10 AM at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Opole. Ed was born August 1, 1941 in Holding Township to Thomas and Mary (Beam) Kantor. He was the youngest of ten children. He attended country school near Opole and graduated from Holdingford High School. After trade school, he was employed at Conlon Construction in St. Cloud and rose to the ranks of Construction Supervisor. Ed married Dolores Maslonkowski on September 6, 1965 in Foley, MN. They first settled in St. Cloud and then moved to the Kantor farm in 1976. They were blessed with three daughters. Ed worked numerous prestigious construction sites throughout the area. Later, he worked as Head Maintenance Supervisor for the Crosier Seminary in Onamia until he retired in 2014. Ed had a great love for the outdoors, especially farming and gardening. He took great pride in his groomed yard, his numerous gardens, his chickens and his dogs. He loved fishing all year around, hunting and Polka music. He often shared the bounty of his harvest with family, friends and neighbors. He was actively involved in the Opole parish as a server boy, lector, choir member, building maintenance and parish board. Ed is survived by his two daughters, Roxanne (Joseph) Becker of Eagan, MN; Nancy Kantor, (Max Ferguson, fiancé) of Chatfield, MN; two granddaughters Katie, and Anna of Eagan MN, and brother Leo Kantor. Ed was heartbroken when his eldest daughter Kerry died April 28th 2018 and then his wife Dolores, of 53 years, passed away on December 26th 2018. He is also preceded in death by his parents, his sisters Adella Bollig, Sophie Scepaniak, Rita Stangler, brothers Alois Kantor, Sylvester Kantor, Thomas Kantor Jr., and twins Viola and Vince Kantor. Memorials preferred.

Leonard S. Dzieweczynski
Leonard S. Dzieweczynski, 95 year old resident of St. Cloud, MN formerly of Swanville, MN passed away Thursday, November 4, 2021 at the VA Medical Center in St. Cloud, MN. A Mass of Christian Burial was held Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Swanville, MN with Father Ron Dockendorf. Burial took place in the St. John's Parish Cemetery in Swanville, MN. Caring for Leonard and his family was the Shelley Funeral Chapel in Swanville, MN. Leonard was born on October 31, 1926, in Holdingford, MN to the late Anton and Anna (Kurtz) Dzieweczynski. After Leonard completed his schooling, he volunteered his service as a teenager to the United States Merchant Marines. He served also in the U.S Coast Guard during World War II and was honorably discharged in 1946. Leonard was united in marriage to Romona Kardash on September 21, 1948, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Flensburg. Together Leonard and Romona owned and operated the 12 Mile Tavern in Swanville, MN for 27 years. He also owned and operated a coin amusement games business in the area from 1963 until 1997. Soon after selling the 12 Mile Tavern, Leonard began working for the Morrison County Sherriff’s Department as the transportation coordinator and special deputy retiring in 1994. In his free time, he enjoyed carving and painting spearing decoys as well as painting folk art. Leonard was a lifetime member of the Swanville VFW and St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Swanville, MN. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. Leonard is survived by children, Larry (Julie Opatz) Dzieweczynski, Roger Dzieweczynski, Robert (Marilyn Zylka) Dzieweczynski and Dennis (Paula Quinn) Dzieweczynski; brothers, David (Vicki) Dzieweczynski and Kenneth (Bernadine) Dzieweczynski; grandchildren, Paul (Chiaki) Dzieweczynski, Tony (Amy) Dzieweczynski, Katie Dzieweczynski, Anna (Marcus) Jobe, Bradley Dzieweczynski, Mark (Meggan) Dzieweczynski, Audrey (Brett) Witucki, Zachary Niedzielski and Molly Niedzielski; and 15 great-grandchildren. Leonard was preceded in death by parents, Anton and Anna Dzieweczynski; wife, Romona Dzieweczynski; daughter, Denise Niedzielski; and brothers, Alois Dzieweczynski, Jerome Dzieweczynski and Clement Dzieweczynski.
