In 2012, we had two barbecues and helped one senior with his senior project, a barbecue to raise money for a scholarship in memory of the three boys that died from his class. $2,500 dollars was raised and given in two scholarships for his class. We had our Burrow Thunder ride for Special Olympics, raising $3,000 dollars between the Eagles and the riders, with two other rides donating about $5,000 dollars as a group for the year. So far this year, we have had one barbecue and donated two $500 dollar scholarships in memory of the boys that died in 2012. We are now working on our Burrow Thunder ride on July 6 for Special Olympics. There is a bike show from 9 to 11:30 a.m. with prizes given at 11:30 a.m. Sign up from 9 to 11:30 a.m. for the ride. The ride begins at 12 Noon to approx. 5 p.m. At 6 p.m. there will be food, drawings and a dance with the band Against the Grain. Please come and help make this the best year raising money for Special Olympics.
