Homes England are seeking hybrid planning permission for the demolition and redevelopment of Riverside House for housing and the improved facilities across Elizabeth Park.

The new development has the potential to deliver:

Riverside House currently serves as the headquarters for Warwick District Council. However, the Council are hoping to relocate to a more central location in the town. To assist with the Council’s plans, Homes England have purchased the site so that it can be redeveloped for housing.

Where is the site?

Riverside House is located in Leamington Spa, less than a 5minute walk from the town centre. Elizabeth Park is located around 800m west of Riverside House and includes the existing open space and Edmonscote Athletics Track.

Homes England are the government’s housing and regeneration agency. We have teams specialised in housing, regeneration, land and development, investment and finance.

Elizabeth Park Alongside the redevelopment of Riverside House, the Council also has an ongoing strategy to improve accessibility to greenspace and improve sports facilities.
