It’s been an incredibly successful year and one where you’ve all played a vital role in us becoming the first ‘Outstanding’ rated home care provider in York.

A special shout out to those of you who are working over the festive period, we know it’s a time when everyone would like to be at home with friends and family, but it is hugely appreciated by us and even more so by all of your clients!

Annette celebrates five years’ service Home Instead Senior Care York & Ryedale’s Care Coordinator, Annette, last month celebrated 5 years’ service.

Annette originally joined the Home Instead team as a CAREGiver in late 2013. Within 2 years she was recognised for her outstanding work and was awarded the 2015 CAREGiver of The Year Award for the region.

Since then Annette has joined a team of Key Player assistants, taking up a more office based role, and then onto her current position of Care Coordinator, which she started in May 2018.

Annette really is a vital part of the team at Home Instead York & Ryedale, and we look forward to many more years ahead.

What have you been up to with your clients?

You can’t beat Bettys in York at Christmas time! Client of ours, Patricia, visited recently with her CAREGiver Lisa, together they enjoyed a great afternoon of Tea and Cake!

Another one of our CAREGivers Lis paid a visit to David Smith Garden Centre in Wilberfoss with her client Joyce. While there, she took this lovely smiley photo!

Remember to send us across your pictures of you out and about like our two CAREGivers, Lis and Lisa have.

Pay us a visit for your plant and present Last week we kicked off our festivities in the office.

You have all been invited in to pick a bauble off the tree and match it with a present wrapped below. As well as a present for every CAREGiver we also have a little gift for each of our clients. Along with Deans Garden Centre in York, we

have been giving festive plants to all Home Instead clients. With each plant there is an accompanying Christmas card, designed by local York school children.

Lots of you have already been in but there are still some plants and presents to give out, make sure you pay us a visit between now and Christmas Eve!

Celebrations as CAREGivers complete long service Last month really was a month for celebration, we had a great number of CAREGivers completing long service. Congrats to the following: Luci, Kate, Nicola and Sarah who all celebrated their first year. Cath finished

her second year of service whilst Julie and Margaret both completed their fourth year of service.
