Happy holidays

At Home Instead, it’s our aim to be the care provider of choice in York, Scarborough & Ryedale. That’s for people working in care as well as for people receiving care. That’s why Luke and Ann Marie, owners of Home Instead York bought a holiday

home in Amble, Northumberland for staff to use and enjoy. It’s been wonderful to see so many of our team making use of the holiday home for their ‘staycations’ over the course of the summer! Do you recognise any of these beautiful spots in Northumberland?

September is #WorldAlzheimersMonth The aim of the month is to raise awareness and challenge stigma surrounding Alzheimer’s and dementia. Here at Home Instead, we’re experts in providing dementia care at home, helping people live well at home in the place they know and love. We know from experience looking after our clients with dementia, that a diagnosis of dementia doesn’t mean you can’t live a healthy, happy life. We provide dementia care that:

● Helps your loved ones stay safe & comfortable at home ● Builds clients’ confidence ●P rovides nutritious meals and activities ● Enables social interaction ● Stimulates the mind ●G ives families a break from caring For some useful information on living well with dementia, please visit our dementia hub: https://www.homeinstead.co.uk/ world-alzheimers-month/
