Located in Tenbury Wells, The Bridge is a historic pub operated by Bob and Sarah Webb since 2006. It features two bars, a gourmet kitchen, and seven letting rooms. However, an upstairs ballroom, previously rented to martial arts groups, suffered repeated damage, and a new approach was needed.

Eager to explore the idea of competitive socialising, Bob attended Home Leisure Direct’s 2024 event, a dedicated industry gathering for hospitality venues looking to boost engagement and revenue - Competitive Socialising.

After taking notes and meeting us at the show Bob began working closely with Home Leisure Direct, to transform the now unused upstairs space into "CO-SO", a dedicated games room offering a unique social experience. Key elements included:

Pool Tables -Two quality tables set for casual and competitive play.

Nowadays, customers expect a contactless payment option wherever they go. Barclaycard have reported that in 2023, 93.4% off all in store transaction less than £100 were made with contactless payments.

At Home Leisure Direct, we were quick to recognise this trend and develop a contactless payment option for our competitive socialising products, with a focus on the hospitality industry.

To put our innovation to the test, we ran a 9-month trial comparing over 50 pool tables in multiple venues, analysing the revenue generated by contactless payment versus cash payment tables. The results were nothing short of staggering, with the contactless payment tables generating an average revenue increase of 125% compared to their cash counterparts.

We’ve taken that a step further adding with more service packs to help you manage payments based on what is best for you and your venue. We are also able to fit contactless unit to more products than ever before to help your drive the profit for your venue without all the fuss of cash.

LEASE RENTAL SOLUTIONS THAT SUIT YOU

If you’re looking for a finance solution that helps spread the cost of making the most of your venue, then a lease rental may be for you. This option is available on most of our commercial products.

Our lease rental agreements usually last 3 years and can run from as little as £45 per week. 100% of the revenue is kept by you and with the average English pool table taking in £29 per day, this leads to a tidy profit each month. What’s more, there’s no deposit required and so you’re able to stock your venue without a large upfront cost.

All our lease rental products come with servicing included in the price. This means annual accessory packs, fresh cloth refits, access to a 364 day a year breakdown service, with an engineer on site within 4 hours, are all part of our market leading package.

We recognise that all businesses are different. It may be that you prefer to pay for the cost of the product straight away rather than leasing it.

We regularly benchmark our prices against our competitors to ensure we have the best price and value on all our product offerings. Enjoy a 90-day commercial use warranty on our products, providing peace of mind on your new purchases.

OUTRIGHT PURCHASE PURCHASE WITH SERVICE

Over the years we have had many customers who would like to purchase their chosen product but have wanted the peace of mind of having the service agreement included.

‘Purchase with Service’ is exactly that. You have the benefit of a lower weekly servicing fee and owning the equipment at the end of the agreement.

PROFIT SHARE

On certain products we offer profit share - this is venue dependant, so please contact one of our team for more information. All profit shares include the same service package as with our lease rental agreements.
