About Me
As a recent graduate, I am looking to further explore my creative career in Architecture through working in a practice led environment.
Throughout my studies, I’ve always had a passion for finding new ways to design spaces that inspire and allow people to feel included within the space as well as connecting people to create a sense of community.
I am keen to utilise my current skillset whilst also developing new skills that will allow me to advance further and gain more of an understanding into practice led design.
Working alongside other creative minds and being part of an uplifting team during group projects and university led trips has been thoroughly enjoyable and has allowed me to expand and share my ideas.

The Baltic Dance Academy and Performance
House
Design Preface
The Baltic Dance Academy situated in Liverpool’s Baltic Triangle provides a creative hub for the exploration of dance and rhythm.
The design provides a wide range of inspiring spaces to learn, rehearse and perform.
The core idea of this dance academy is that the building itself is a performance.
This idea is shown throughout the design by looking at the kinetic facade or the suggestion that anywhere in the building can be utilised as a performance space, allowing a sense of community to be created.

the idea that dancer’s forms can be split into two
This then inspired the form of the design to be split into two and splitting the circulation into two - public and private

Weather or Not
Located just by Lake Windermere in the Lake District, this weather research centre provides spaces to learn, research and explore whilst providing stunning views to the lake and surrounding nature.
The leading concept in this project was the use of sustainable materials, sustainable energy sources and cutting down on ground use.
The design consists of using renewable materials such as Douglas Fir and having a green roof. A water conserving system is also in place where rainwater is collected and used around the building. The building sits on stilts which allows it to have a minimal impact on the ground below.

Bombed Out Church Pavilion
This pavilion designed for the WOW fest in Liverpool focuses on the idea of impermanence and how things can still make a lasting impact even though they are temporary.
The Bombed Out Church provided a suitable site for this project as the church can be seen as an ideal place to reflect, appreciate and express emotion.
The pavilion provides multiple spaces to give talks, readings, presentations or to just sit, listen and reflect.
