Culture is about a set of shared beliefs. “Main Streeters” work in a collaborative manner, have high people skills and are personally responsible. They truly care about each other and help each other rise to whatever level possible. They contribute to the community in many ways, which also shows their great care for others…after all, selling is about helping others get what they want and need! – Shawn McCorkle, First American Title My wife and I are both retired and uniquely we are also graduate students working on our doctorate degrees. Main Street was the only property management company that would work with us because of our combination of social security income and financial aid for our schooling. They allowed us to get a fantastic property at an incredible value! Main Street has been very responsive to any maintenance request and everyone we have ever dealt with has been awesome! We Love Main Street! - Winston & Debra Wainscott, customers Main Street Culture means never having to feel alone, always knowing there is someone who will make me smile and feel welcomed and valued when I walk through the door of the office or place a call to the office. It gives me a sense of confidence knowing there are so many agents willing to share their time and knowledge with me whenever I have the need. - Ann Davis, agent

I am at Main Street because of the culture. We are a family…we watch out for each other, we help each other and we encourage each other. Knowing that I can trust anyone at Main Street to ‘have my back’ means the world to me, because I know it comes from the heart. I cannot fathom working anywhere else but Main Street! Thanks, Holly and Audie, for providing such a warm and welcoming atmosphere! - Nancy Humphrey, agent Culture is a word for people's 'way of life', meaning the way they do things. God, family & then business We are a family at Main Street, making people feel good even if it means putting them ahead of ourselves. Acts of integrity, compassion, courage and sacrifice Shared attitudes, values, goals and practices that characterizes our organization. - Wilma Boland, property management

Culture can mean one is cultured, meaning an appreciation of fine art, wine, foods and what some would call the elite things of life. Culture can also mean the way of life of certain civilizations in certain times. But I think most important culture is the basic characteristics of a group or society. The culture of Main Street Properties is consideration of others. This group of characters have somehow come together and blended into an alliance of helpers. Individually we can’t do much, but collectively Main Street Properties helps literally thousands of families better themselves. I am so proud to be a very small part of the Culture of Main Street Properties. - Bill Sheffield, agent

The staff at Main Street Properties is not only helpful and efficient, but they make you feel a part of a friendship... a family! I love going into the office. Everyone there is always so cheerful and smiling. You can tell they really love what they do. - Michelle Curry, customer Main Street Property impressed me from the first time I heard someone speak of it. My daughter-in-law, Amanda (Mandy) Bullard had so many nice things to say about everyone and the company. I wasn't going to consider it for my place of employment, because I didn't want to intrude on her territory. My second contact with a Main Street representative was when I wanted to view a Main Street Property and Dan Lawrence was the listing agent. He met me at the place and couldn't say enough nice things about Main Street and asked me to come to a meeting to see what I thought. I went to the meeting and the energy was positive, polite and professional. I knew I was home! - Beverly S. Bullard, agent

To me, Main Street means "Refined" Real Estate Practices. – Richard Brazzeal, agent

I think Main Street Properties is an amazing place to work! I have known some of the other Sales Associates and office staff since I was first licensed 12 years ago. Everyone is very upbeat, helpful, honest and ethical. So I am so happy to be letting my Light Shine with Main Street on Perdido Key! Great location and even better real estate professionals. - Patricia Faulkenberry, agent I have used Main Street Properties for 10 years, since June 2005. When I look into a job, I usually try to see if the COMPANY I want to work at for 8 hours a day is one that I feel is a family culture company and are true to their word. Even though Main Street Properties has many good traits this is the one that stands out for me. The first thing I like was the Family atmosphere. All the outside activities, they try to help all the neighbors, (Humana, YMCA, etc.) families in need. Family is support and that is what you get with Main Street, togetherness, working together like a family, they are blood. I have seen the rental department send out an e-mail requesting a heater for a family that that had no heat due to a back ordered part with a new baby and they made it happen, I have seen an agent ask for blankets and coats and it happen. Family pulls together in time of need and Main Street is that kind of company no matter who or what the need is they make it happen. At Main Street “IF THEY START SOMETHING, THEY MAKE IT HAPPEN BECAUSE THAT’S WHAT FAMILY DOES”.

-

Vicky Shurtz, management

Main Street Properties is an awesome company. The "Family Like" atmosphere makes us all feel so important and so loved. All of our wants and needs are met with Main Street and that helps us to keep focused with our business. Cutting edge technology with our own IT person on board is so important with the direction that real estate is going. We just can't say enough great things about our favorite real estate company with "Hometown Values" and no franchise fees.....smile. Along with Hometown values and world-class service, our company also gives back to the community with many charity events, such as our annual Manna Food Bank Drive and the YMCA Corporate Cup event. - Diane Grundstrom & Mike Travis, agents

Main Street feels different to me because of the help that is always available for the agents. Help comes in many forms; through training sessions, other agents, and the ever-helpful office staff. - Rhonda Cooper, agent Main Street is the best place to work for me because of the high integrity of the owners, Audie Street & Holly Lovett, as well as the excellent training, support, teamwork and caring attitude for the customer as well as for our fellow Realtors. –Ken Parks, agent People are asking why the change, the same core values and “hometown” values - My husband was a Pensacola Native! He left for years and worked in Nashville but his home was always Pensacola. I lost him two years ago, even though I am from Nashville because of him this is now my home. He loved this community and SO DO I! –Peggy Butler, agent

A lot of companies take pride in saying that their employees are members of a team. At Main Street, not only are we a team, but we are a family. Not just something that has been written on a piece of paper, but in reality. And, for the most part, everyone is passionate about the values & mission of Main Street. Working as a team/family isn’t something you can fake – it just comes naturally. You don’t even think about it – it just happens. I am proud to be a part of Main Street Properties and I believe everyone feels the same way or they wouldn’t still be here. -Bonita King, office manager

Faith, Family, Encouragement, Growth, Love, Support, Integrity, Honesty, Gratitude – these are words not usually connected with a person’s workplace, but they are what Main Street Properties is all about. These are not just words written on paper without meaning. They are the core beliefs of our owners and are talked about and taught about on a daily basis. Focusing on the growth and support of our people has been the basis for making Main Street Properties the successful business that it is today. Appreciation and encouragement of our people has allowed us to build a strong foundation of friends that we can depend on in times of need – whether it be personal or professional need. I have worked in several places and have enjoyed my previous jobs for the most part. However, not one of them was concerned with helping me to grow as a person. Not one of them was interested in getting to know my family. They did not focus on my success but instead only what I could do for them. The culture of Main Street Properties has made me a stronger, more courageous person. I have been pushed outside of my comfort zone and have faced challenges that I normally would have avoided. I look forward to coming to work every day because I work at a place that encourages me to be the best person that I can possibly be while at the same time allows me to fulfill my life purpose of helping others be the best that they can be. - Cissy Scott, CFO

The Main Street Culture to me means integrity. The integrityof the company & leadership, but also the integrity of the culture. It's why I came and why I'm still here. - Skip Geiser, agent

The Main Street culture is one of encouragement, excitement, enthusiasm, and integrity. I've never been in a group of people who were more helpful, cheerful and fun loving while providing exceptional customer support. Continuous training in all aspects of our profession prepares Main Street agents with the tools needed to provide our clients with superior service. -Susan Myrick, agent

Doing my best with hometown values and good real estate knowledge to provide world-class service is what Main Street culture means to me. Thanks for the opportunity to associate with the best company in town. - K. Hsu, agent Main Street Properties is a place where I know that I can send someone and they will have a good experience. From the way the office appears to the management style there is not one detail that has been overlooked. The management style is one in which the owners want the best life for their associates.... they believe when your associates have the best life, production and goals should correlate with that picture and the productivity will come accordingly. Main Street, full of energy... meets face to face with associates, listens, cares and educates associates. This style flows over to their team members' interactions in the community and with their clients. Í’ A happy place to work and a wonderful place to help you shop for a home! Í’ Í’ - Maureen S. Fell, Assistant VP & Branch Manager, Regions Bank

Perspective, Vision, Mission, Values are what we speak of at Main Street every day. For me, it can be summarized into one word… CONNECTIVITY-this is the quality and/or condition of being connected. Connectivity includes the ability to connect or make a connections and the ability to maintain those connections. Usually, the connectivity depends on an attribute, or commonality that the PLAYERS share…This commonality could be family, friendship, buying and selling property, same work environment, or the same/similar beliefs, such as integrity and honesty. I feel Main Street has the ability to connect with me through personal empowerment, which contributes to personal and professional growth? BE CONNECTED, STAY CONNECTED, MAKE NEW CONNECTIONS Connectivity, for me, encompasses the Main Street culture. The more you CONNECT, the more productive you’ll become in your work life, as well as your personal life... - Diane Yeargan, Agent Services

Every client’s happiness, growth and success is personal, if they are happy, grow and succeed so do I. - Doug Arnold, agent

First off, what’s NOT to love?? The energy when you walk into the office oozes nothing but positivity! Just my kind of place! -͒͒And, the fact that Main Street celebrates the seemingly “small things” or “small moments” is something after my own heart. From having a photographer attending the team gatherings (I prefer not to call them “sales meetings”, as that’s only a small part of what Main Street is all about) to capture those moments in time that you can never get back as we sit in the room, listening to and hanging on every word our leaders (Holly & Audie) have to say. From “let’s sing Happy Birthday to Bridgette”…or “this is Leslie’s first closing since getting her license”…or “do what’s truly of your heart, whether in your professional or personal life…”…It’s the “small things” that matter in our lives and being able to share and celebrate with likeminded people is something I am personally thankful for.͒͒I know the best is yet to come!͒ -Kerri Hutchinson, agent It has been my pleasure to work with the agents & staff at Main Street Properties. We look forward to working with them for years to come as they make our closings a pleasure. They are so professional, helpful, and are always willing to go above & beyond the call of duty to make sure the transactions go smoothly. They stay on top of the parties they represent and any issues that may come up, which makes for smooth closings. - Surety Land Title

Main Street has enhanced my business and I enjoy working with the Property Management Department. They are professional and take an active interest in the properties that they manage. Main Street’s culture, to me, is one of openness & sharing. Staff and agents are willing to help with whatever is needed to assure that we are all successful in all areas of life. It is a great support group which brings the feeling of family & close personal friendships. I love working with the agents at Main Street Properties because working with well-trained Realtors makes a world of difference in the overall success of a real estate transaction. The agents at MSP are among the best trained in the area. The office is like a big family and everyone is always upbeat, motivated, and works to help each other. They also believe in the power of good relationships with their vendors such as title companies, lenders, insurance agents, inspectors, etc. In this current market environment it is extremely crucial to embrace the power of partnerships and work together for the common goal. The culture at MSP is one that is fun, professional, and inspirational. - Jason Weber, University Lending Group

Main Street Properties has been the property managers of my complex for many years, and being an out of town owner, they handle all aspects very professionally. They have wonderful contacts for repair items and keep the property in great shape. - Lawrence Parker, customer At Main Street Properties we are a company that is about relationships – God & family first & then our business, and our business is about relationships. We don’t want our name to be just about real estate – we want to be everyone’s favorite real estate company and to be about building relationships that matter. We want to build our company to be about the very best customer service & the very best customer experience. This vision was created by our founding owners, Holly Lovett & Audie Street. They are both true examples of two individuals that have a servant’s heart. They believe that hometown values & world-class service do matter. Another core value that Main Street exemplifies is “Everyone matters.” This, I believe, each & every one of the staff & agents believe. No matter what walk of life you may come from, where you’ve been, or where you’re going, everyone matters- open your heart to everyone’s differences. – Amy Buker, Property Management

I want to say that - Main Street is our Rental Management Company and it has been perfect for us. If I have any questions or doubts, they get back to me right away. In one word they are very reliable. It's a pleasure to do business with them. – Mayra Blanco, customer To me, Main Street Culture means a family. In the most literal sense, I have family in the business and my actions, work ethic, productivity and personality reflects on that family member. But beyond that, those I work with deserve the same attitude and qualities because I reflect on them in a similar sense. And they reflect on me. The Main Street culture means doing the right and fair things because it helps those around you, not you yourself. It means having a stake in the company and owning a piece of the successes and failures of your company family - a family as small as an office department or as big as a community. – Luke Street, property manager It is impressive to see a business that gives back to the community it serves, through involvement, concern and generosity. Main Street Properties, its management and employees set a high standard for businesses in our community. – Robert Lane, customer

Main Street Properties is a great team to work with. It’s been good to work with a dependable company. I enjoy the positive quotes on the walls of the office along with the nice people! – Brandon Price, customer Main Street Properties Culture to me is simply inspiring. The one thing that I have found working with Main Street Properties is that they truly believe in the quote "Let Your Light Shine" and instead of micro-managing every aspect of the company and agents, they coach and encourage in a manner that talents are enhanced and built upon, which allows each and every individual and company working with Main Street Properties to "Let Their Light Shine". Thank you for helping my light shine a little brighter. - Aaron Stillwater, Sharky Teez Main Street means to me…. A place to grow my business, where questions get answers, where education is accessed easily and encouraged. Most of all where I know I am a Professional Realtor working with other Professional Realtors and an Amazing Staff. - Pam White, agent "At Main Street Properties, there truly is no "I" in team... and I just love that!" – Heather Malone, agent

I fully believe that the culture starts at the top and the top is saying “we want to change and we want to grow, so give me your best ideas and we’ll implement them.” I have never seen a company value its employees and one another like they do at Main Street. Main Street encourages both personal and professional growth in any capacity, not just for the benefit of the company. And, just like any great culture, there is a sense of family. We may not always see eye to eye but, at the end of the day, we’re still there for one another. The “work hard, play hard” mentality is in full swing and there is much work to be done, but hard work is always rewarded. These are the reasons that keep me here, and why I love Main Street Properties. Sarah Nelson, property management –

Voted Best of the Bay on three accounts, property management, sales, and best place to work. What more could you ask? - Joseph Lee, Internet Technologies

The culture at Main Street Properties, is one of the main reasons I chose this company to work for, although there are other reasons as well. It is not just "business as usual" at MSP! The culture at Main Street is a family-oriented, transparent, caring, and fun environment to be a part of. The high standards and Values that are taught, to be moral, ethical, professional, and accountable, and how to offer World Class Service, are very apparent at MSP. There is always something going on, from classes to train you, and Team Meetings to motivate and inspire you, to Coaching that helps you reach your goals, to community outreach events for local involvement, to charity events to help those in need. Book Clubs, Study Groups, Bible Studies, and Family Fun Nights round out the enjoyment of working at Main Street Properties, and this shows the Brokers' investment in their Agents on a personal level, and not just a business level. Relationships matter at Main Street Properties. I don't know another company in the Pensacola Bay Area that has a culture like MSP. The Brokers make all the difference! Main Street Properties is the Best! – Pam Heinold, agent Main Street Properties is a great company that has gone above & beyond to make sure we are happy. – Michael & Heather Tooley, customers
