The HCG Story... The story of HCG began in the Fifties when, after having done research on weight loss for 40 years and research on HCG specifically for twenty years, Dr. Simeons reported that patients taking small amounts of HCG, in conjunction Kathryn Azhar, Owner with a very low calorie and her staff diet, could lose weight safely and quickly without exercise, muscle loss or hunger. But all HCG is not created equal. The SuperVision Weight Loss program starts with pharmaceutical HCG. Unfortunately, there has been a lot of confusion created by products being sold without guidance that call themselves “HCG” but do not contain any in their ingredient list. HCG is one of 67 hormones naturally produced in the human body, so if a product states that it is hormone free, it's not HCG.

Cindy's Story

For years, I've had trouble losing the excess weight that I put on. I've tried several plans and fad diets, only to put the weight back on. I came to Super Vision Weight Loss when my doctor told me that I was pre-diabetic. I found the program easy to follow. i was glad to have the support of the staff through the entire transition. I am so happy with my results and my new lease on life.

Gary's Story

My doctor was on my case about my blood pressure, and I know that the extra weight I was carrying wasn’t helping that situation. My knees hurt and I just wanted to feel better. I gave Super Vision Weight Loss a chance to help me get the weight off. They were really great!! I lost 38 lbs. in 31 days! My girlfriend is thrilled. I travel for a living and I was able to stay true to the diet protocol even on the road. I’m so glad I did this diet with Super Vision Weight Loss. I feel YEARS younger and I know I’ll never have that belly again.

HCG does not produce weight loss by itself. However, in concert with a very specific balanced diet, and our help in avoiding unexpected environmental or behavioral deviations, HCG will allow the body to naturally pull the nutrients and calories needed from stored fat reserves into the blood stream at the rate of 1500 to 4000 calories per day. We are sure that those who follow our protocol WILL lose 20-30 pounds in 40 days. These fantastic results ARE typical with our full service packages. SuperVision Weight Loss program is not your run of the mill “eat less and exercise more” diet for a slow loss of 1 to 2 pounds a week that seems to take the rest of your life. Our protocol tricks Mother Nature a little, maybe, however only natural processes are at work. Per Dr. Simeons, it is safe and so very effective.

What About the Embryos? by Jennifer J Hostetter If you’ve watched or read the news lately, you have likely heard about Nick Loeb suit against Sofia Vergara over the use of their two frozen embryos. While the couple was engaged, they had two frozen embryos stored at the Art Reproductive Center in Beverly Hills, California. This case has raised lots of issues such as who has the right, if any, to use these embryos and if no one can use them, then what happens to the embryos. Imagine the joy in finally being able to have a baby through assisted reproductive technology. There is so much excitement that the last thing you are probably thinking about is divorce or death. But these two topics are very important to consider before signing any consent forms with your clinic. Typically before the storage process begins, the clinic will ask you to sign consent forms. These forms can allow you to determine how long the embryos should be stored, whether you want to donate the embryos, or if they can only be used for your benefit. Often times, these forms include boilerplate provisions and may not reflect the true interests of the parties at the time or upon a separation or dissolution of the marriage.

In a divorce, the frozen embryos are usually considered property subject to division. However, depending on what you and your partner signed at the clinic, the partner receiving the embryos through the divorce, may be extremely limited in what he or she can do with them because the consent forms at the clinic likely still recognizes both parties as the owners of the embryos. Whether or not the clinic will recognize the decree giving you full ownership of the embryos is also a gray area of the law. However, imagine the opposite where Wife receives the embryos pursuant to a divorce decree, and then wishes to implant those embryos and becomes pregnant. Then the question becomes whether or not Husband has to pay child support for that child and if he has any parenting time rights with that child. Unfortunately in Indiana, there are no clear cut answers to some of these questions. It is extremely important to meet with an attorney to discuss these consent forms and all of your options or interests prior to signing the forms. Further, in situations where the couple isn’t married yet, it would be wise to speak with an attorney and include information in a prenuptial agreement regarding the embryos in the event of divorce.

Conflict Can Bring You Closer to Someone You Love Most people hate the thought of conflict and yet in healthy relationships conflict is normal and actually, breeds intimacy. When you and your spouse are in disagreement it is important to encourage the conflict and healthy resolution. Here are some tools to help that process. ♦ When in conflict, listen to your partner. Spend more time listening than talking. ♦ Validate his feelings. Let him know you understand (even if you don’t agree!) It doesn’t matter who is right. In my marital sessions I teach couples to practice saying four statements that are quite effective in conflict resolution: ♦ You are right. ♦ I was wrong. ♦ I’m sorry. ♦ I love you. These four statements de-escalate a conflict when said genuinely to your partner. Your partner won’t be so defensive and won’t feel the need to convince you that he is right. This allows you to work through the conflicts faster. I also teach couples not to expect an apology. You don’t need an apology to move on. As a matter of fact, if you wait for one, you will stay stuck harboring resentment. Hence, I am saying two things: Apologize to your partner, but don’t expect your partner to apologize to you. ♦ Let your partner know that you recognize and appreciate his strengths. Whenever there is a conflict it is important to remain balanced. When people are criticized they feel put down and begin to question their worth. No put-downs when fighting! Conflict is resolved more quickly when you balance the conversation with your partner’s strengths and positive qualities (sometimes this takes major

thought and rehearsal, but make sure you get it in, because it will make a difference).

Carol Juergensen Sheets

♦ Remember when you use reflective listening with your partner, don’t get defensive! Use the statement, “This isn’t about me, this is about them.” Continue to work with conflict by using this technique. It will keep you from feeling attacked, which is a normal reaction in conflict. ♦ Whenever possible and appropriate, touch your partner while in conflict. When there is a physical connection an unconscious connection remains despite the problems. Talk about your disagreements face-to-face and rest your hand on their knee or stick your feet under them on the couch. I know you’re thinking that when you fight you don’t even want to look at them, much less touch them. This is a cue for you to know that you need to calm yourself down. Although anger is a normal reaction to conflict, it should not be a roadblock to working things out. ♦ Lastly, after you have discussed the conflict, give each other some breathing room. Go do something that is active. Exercise, clean the house, wash the car, mow the lawn or do something nurturing. Take a bath; work on your sewing, watch some football. Time-outs give the brain time to process the information. Ask your partner if you can table the discussion for an hour or two or a day. When you return you should be calmer and more solution-oriented. The toughest part about conflict is feeling confident that you can work things out. It’s important to convey that to your partner. One of the best ways to do that is to resume your normal life and not let the conflict stop you from being close. Couples work through conflict quicker when they don’t hold it over each other’s heads. Conflict is natural. Use these skills and deal with it with confidence.

Business Spotlight Health & Nutrition Technology

(HNT-Indiana) has served the Indianapolis area since 2002. Medical Director, Dawn Ayers MD-endocrinology, and Program Director, Sheila Henson RD, together opened and continue to lead this successful medically supervised behavior modification program. Tom Landry’s quote, ‘Leadership is getting someone to do what they don't want to do, to achieve what they want to achieve’ is as true in football as in heath and weight management. Dr. Ayers recognized the need for an effective weight management program in Central Indiana. She had aspirations to offer a non-surgical medical option to her patients beyond standard commercial or support programs. Thus it was an ideal fit to team up such a well-known and respected medical provider in conjunction with the proven weight management program in HNT. The result: the need of providing safe rapid and effective weight loss is being met— consistently! The average weight loss is 16% in the first 20 weeks; maintained years out. HNT believes that support combined with education is what it takes to make a lifestyle change permanent. Four essential skill-sets: Behavioral; Nutritional; Environmental; Physical Activity are introduced and developed. Sustainable Health improvement often starts with initial weight loss. We can assist anyone ready to change. No minimum or maximum weight loss is required to participate. Making our motto a reality: Change your life…so YOU can live it!

Living Your Dreams...or Just Dreaming by Shelly Aristizabal There is a big difference between setting goals and seeing them through to achievement. Some of the best intentions and greatest plans have failed because there wasn’t a system of execution. Following a proven system will make the difference between dreaming and accomplishing your goals. It’ll be the difference between having dreams and living your dreams. It isn’t writing your goals, making plans to achieve them or even getting started. Many people go through those few steps but still don’t achieve their goals. Many make New Year’s resolutions or set goals and still fail. And our society doesn’t lack the will to start. Everyone starts (FEW FINISH) -- they sign up for the gym membership, they buy the diet books, they go to seminars, they start their new prospecting plan, their new date night plan, their new meditation plan, their new study plan -- but very few continue. Very few will see it through. When it comes down to it, your new plans, your new actions, your new behaviors, have to be implemented into your monthly, weekly and ultimately daily routine. A routine is something you do every day without fail and eventually without thinking about it. DDDBC - Daily Discipline Done Daily Builds Character Consider this: If you’ve become successful at doing anything, you probably developed a routine for it. How do you remember to keep your teeth healthy, your pantry full, your children dressed, fed and on time for school every day? You have incorporated the daily behaviors into a routine. We also develop routines to keep ourselves sane. If we had to consciously think about every step of each ordinary task--making breakfast, driving the kids to school, getting to work, and so on--our lives would grind to a halt.

Aristotle said, “We are what we repeatedly do.” John Maxwell said in an interview, “You will never change your life until you change something you do daily. The secret of your success is found in your daily routine.” To create change, we start with knowing what we are thinking about! Everything begins with our THOUGHTS - be aware and strategic about what you think about! Your THOUGHTS develop into your WORDS that is why it is important to write down and speak your dreams and goals. Your WORDS will determine your ACTIONS; dream it, believe it, achieve it! ACTIONS turn into HABITS, we are on autopilot 90% of the time! It takes repetition to develop knew routines. Your HABITS become your CHARACTER - your core values and beliefs and intentions show up in your results! Eventually your CHARACTER will determine your DESTINY and legacy! So we can actually say: Your THOUGHTS = Your DESTINY! Please check out my 30 Days to Design & Live Your Dream, at www.ShellyAristizabal. com - it will be what separates you from everyone else who has ever had a dream or set a goal. On the journey toward your goals, you will be off track...frequently. Life tends to get in the way sometimes. This Dream Achievement System will be something you can turn to, to recalibrate and guide you toward your goal! You may be familiar with the concept; it takes 21 days to make or break a habit - take the next 21 days to focus on an important goal or dream - what do you need do to achieve it? Enjoy the journey to discovering & designing the life you were born to love!

Shelly Aristizabal is the author of This Is Your Year to Design & Live the Life of Your Dreams, a leader in the Community Commerce Industry, Motivational Speaker and the New President of Business Women Connect. What is

Coolsculpting® The Guyer Institute began “freezing fat” a little less than one year ago, and we now have an abundance of happy patients with magnificent outcomes. In case you’re not familiar with Coolsculpting®, it is a revolutionary non-surgical contouring treatment that freezes stubborn fat, which then is naturally eliminated from your body. No needles are involved, no special diets required, no additional supplements, and best of all – this is not surgery! There is no downtime with this procedure. It’s FDA cleared, effective, and does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Say goodbye to muffin tops and love handles. Coolsculpting® is the coolest most innovative, non-surgical way to lose those annoying bumps and bulges of stubborn fat. This revolutionary technology targets and cools unwanted fat cells in the selected area to induce a noticeable, natural-looking reduction in fat bulges. Unlike most other methods of fat reduction, Coolsculpting® involves no needles, surgery or downtime. A person can have this procedure done during their lunch hour and literally return to whatever they were going to do that day – with absolutely no restrictions. It’s safe, FDA-cleared and effective. Results look natural and can be seen as early as three weeks following treatment, with the most dramatic results after one to three months. Some of the most commonly asked questions are: What will the results be? Many patients are satisfied after one treatment. However, during your consultation, we can discuss a treatment plan that will meet your specific treatment needs. What happens during the treatment? To initiate the treatment we will position the device on your body. The device will then draw the bulge up between two cooling panels. The sensation is a firm pull and pressure – enough of a pull to ensure

the selected tissue will be cooled most efficiently. An hour or so later, depending on your needs, you’re done. When will I see results? You may start to see changes as quickly as three weeks after your treatment, and will experience the most dramatic results after one to three months. Your body is still flushing fat cells and will continue doing so for up to four to six months after treatment. Are the results permanent? During Coolsculpting®, the treated fat cells are permanently eliminated. As long as you maintain a healthy lifestyle, long-term results should remain stable. How do I get started? Call Denise Kaler, Health and Wellness Consultant at The Guyer Institute to set up your complimentary consultation. She will determine if you’re a good candidate for Coolsculpting and work with you to develop a treatment plan. Coolsculpting® truly is the coolest, most innovative, non-surgical way to lose those annoying bumps and bulges of stubborn fat. . This revolutionary technology targets and cools unwanted fat cells. The ugly truth is, we all have stubborn fat. As we age, gravity and genetics only make things worse. Proper diet and exercise are not enough to keep these unwanted bulges at bay. Coolsculpting® is the solution for getting back the body you want without surgery or downtime.
