Holiday House, founded in 2008 by interior designer and breast cancer survivor Iris Dankner, is an interior design showhouse where top interior designers and lifestyle brands showcase their talent to raise critical funds for the prevention and cure of breast cancer.
Iris Dankner was inspired to combine her two passions — interior design and fundraising for breast cancer research — when she saw a lack of high-profile interior design events in the New York City area benefitting this great cause. After its inception in 2008, Holiday House became the first designer show house in New York City to benefit a breast cancer organization, attracting talented designers from across the country to transform the historic Academy Mansion on Manhattan’s Upper East Side each fall and later moving to other luxury locations around the city. Following its success in New York City, Holiday House created a summer expansion in the Hamptons and is now established as one of the premiere show houses in the country.
This year Holiday House is celebrating 17 years of remarkable accomplishments including 13 Designer Showhouses in NYC, 7 Designer Showhouses in the Hamptons, 1 Designer Showhouse in London, 6 Tabletop Events in NYC, the Hamptons and Palm Beach, 4 Virtual Showhouses with Hamptons Magazine, Modern Luxury Magazine and HGTV, and Holiday House: Ten Years of Decorating for a Cure, a beautiful coffee table book documenting Holiday House’s history from Pointed Leaf Press. Iris is also celebrating twenty-eight years as a breast cancer survivor!
Iris currently serves as a member of the advisory board of The Breast Cancer Research Foundation® (BCRF) while her interior design show house, Holiday House, directly benefits the organization. Since partnering with The Breast Cancer Research Foundation® (BCRF), Holiday House has granted over 2 million dollars to this renowned charity that invests 91 cents of every dollar to support its mission of ending breast cancer by advancing the world’s most groundbreaking research.

My favorite time of the year is finally here, which means its time for Holiday House to return to the beloved east end of Long Island. This year’s showhouse will come to life in a magnificent, brand new, modern estate, magically transformed by more than 15 designers showcasing their talents and creating their visions of the ultimate Hamptons lifestyle. It has been highly anticipated and will be, I’m sure, one of Holiday Houses’ most successful designer showhouses.
But let’s not forget what Holiday House is all about. An opportunity to raise funds to help in the fight against breast cancer and to raise awareness in confronting and, hopefully, extinguishing this deadly disease. I’m honored that the Holiday House supports The Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF), which is doing such critical work to make the end of breast cancer a reality in our lifetimes.
At every Holiday House event, I meet many people who share sometimes tragic but often inspiring stories about how their lives or the lives of loved ones have been changed by the scourge of breast cancer. These stories give much meaning to everything I do and make all the hard work and effort fulfilling and worthwhile.
This is my 17th year producing Holiday House Showhouses and I am so thankful to the design community for helping me grow this incredible event over the years. To the designers, sponsors, donors, manufacturers, contractors, painters, electricians, and so many more involved in this year’s showhouse... Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for joining me on this incredible journey. Dear Friends,
On behalf of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF), I am pleased to welcome you to Holiday House Hamptons. We are tremendously grateful for this community and to be the recipient of your impactful support.
BCRF’s visionary founder, Evelyn Lauder, believed that research was the only means to end breast cancer. Over the last thirty years, Evelyn’s theory has proven itself time after time as we have seen that supporting research bears tangible results. Today, we proudly support more than 260 investigators in 16 countries who have been a part of every major breakthrough in breast cancer research.
Survival rates for early-stage breast cancer are the highest they’ve ever been, surpassing 90 percent. This result can be attributed to more personalized treatment options, with an unprecedented 17 new drugs for breast cancer being released over the last decade including the emergence of CDK4/6 inhibitors, antibody drug conjugates, and PARP inhibitors, among others. These advancements would not be possible without the dedication of partners like Holiday House and each of you.
Despite this promising progress, breast cancer incidence is on the rise, with alarming increased diagnoses in younger women and still no cure for metastatic breast cancer. Our work is far from over, but especially now, these latest advancements serve as undeniable evidence that research is the key.
To the talented Iris Dankner, the designers, and all who helped make Holiday House possible, thank you. We are so appreciative of your dedication and this meaningful partnership.

Another beautiful summer is upon us here in the Hamptons. Found Collectibles is a NYC-based furniture and decor gallery that specializes in sourcing one-of-a-kind, timeless pieces from around the globe. Each collection has a unique story tied to its time and place in history. We focus on expert craftsmanship, featuring small-batch, high-quality designs. Our most extensive collection boasts over 2,000 Brazilian midcentury modern furniture pieces from renowned designers such as Joaquim Tenreiro and Sergio Rodrigues, as well as lesserknown designers, and a range of other collectibles.
We only work with pieces that have a clear provenance, carefully selecting them from trusted sources in Brazil where we can verify their origin. We also restore each piece to its original state, working with the same artisans who crafted them in the 70s and 80s.
Our founder, Rodrigo Salem, is a seasoned collector with over 20 years of experience. He personally oversees the sourcing and restoration process. Growing up with art collector parents, Rodrigo was immersed in the art world from a young age. This passion only grew stronger with his extensive travels to more than 80 countries. Born in Peru, Rodrigo left home at 22 to pursue his career and dreams, living in various cities, including Mexico City, Hong Kong, Miami, Rio de Janeiro, and New York City, where he’s been based for the past eleven years.

Award-winning CFDA designer Christian Siriano has established himself as a tour de force in the fashion world since launching his eponymous collection in 2008 following his studies in London under Vivienne Westwood and Alexander McQueen. Siriano’s designs have been worn by today’s biggest names including current FLOTUS Dr. Jill Biden, former FLOTUS Michelle Obama, Angelina Jolie, Oprah, Zendaya, Ariana Grande, to name but a few.
Having just celebrated the brand’s 15-year anniversary, the Siriano design studio continues to celebrate beauty and diversity in this ever-changing fashion industry. As a result, Christian’s work has been featured in a multitude of prestigious museum exhibits including his first ever solo work retrospective titled “Christian Siriano: People Are People” at SCAD in Savannah and Atlanta, respectively, as well as The Memphis Brooks Museum of Art.
Christian’s love for fashion and art carried over into the interior design world in 2021. He launched Siriano Interiors, an NYC-based interior design firm, along with a made-to-order furniture collection, now including over 20 unique pieces. His interior landscapes vary from New York City apartments to boutique hotels, and beyond. His work has been featured in AD, Elle Decor, Luxe Magazine, among others.
“I’ve always been inspired by the effortlessly stylish women I’ve dressed in the Hamptons over the years. For this space, I wanted to channel that same sense of refined drama. This year’s palette embraces rich reds, deep burgundies, and moody browns to evoke warmth and sophistication. We’re layering in sculptural silhouettes, luxurious textures, and a sense of cinematic glamour throughout.”

Marcelo Fernandez is an Uruguay-born, Connecticut-based designer certified by The New York School of Interior
Design. He has worked at Design Within Reach for nearly a decade, and currently manages the design team of the Westport location. During his tenure at DWR, he has honed his product knowledge and design expertise by working with residential clients, architects and interior designers. Whether developing renderings to fill a brand new home, or finding just the right piece to complete a project, he specializes in marrying his clients’ individual style with modern design and creating blended interiors that are personalized and unique. His work has been featured in CT Cottages and Garden, Westport Magazine and the Design Within Reach catalog. Known as “the mayor” of Westport, he can often be spotted out-and-about, with an espresso in hand, walking his two corgis, Rufus and Teddy.
