Giving back has been and will always be a part of who we are as a firm.

Throughout this report you’ll see examples of how we have carried out our mission to “elevate” our communities. In Tulsa, Oklahoma City, Fayetteville and Little Rock, our people are raising money and volunteering time and talent for great causes.

And, in doing so, we are learning more about our communities and gaining new insights. In giving to others, we, too, receive.

Although we’re proud of our accomplishments, we know there is more to do. We look forward to 2016 and will continue our efforts to help make a meaningful difference. It’s our mission and it’s our greatest privilege.

A HISTORY OF

SERVICE

Giving back to the community has always been a part of who we are and what we do as a firm.

From the arts to education, social service and civic organizations, HoganTaylor is committed to helping make a difference to those in need. Individually or collectively, the firm encourages the giving of time, talent and financial support. Each year, our professionals and staff support a variety of nonprofit organizations by sponsoring and attending charitable fundraising events, lending a hand as volunteers and organizing internal events to raise funds for organizations in need. In addition, many of the firm’s professionals further support the nonprofit community by serving as board members or committee leaders.

As the firm has grown, so has our reach. In 2014 The HoganTaylor Foundation was formed with the mission of supporting the needs of the communities we serve by giving back through fundraising and awareness sponsorships, grants and volunteer support.

INTRODUCING

THE HOGANTAYLOR FOUNDATION INAUGURAL EVENT In November 2014, HoganTaylor Chief Executive Officer Randy Nail officially announced the formation of The HoganTaylor Foundation. At the inaugural celebration, The Foundation Trustees presented a gift of $100,000 to the OSU Foundation.

The firm’s contribution will be used toward the construction costs of OSU’s new Spears School of Business state-of-the-art building in Stillwater, Oklahoma.

Oklahoma State University President Burns Hargis and OSU Foundation President Kirk Jewell were both on hand to accept the check.

“We are very appreciative of HoganTaylor’s dedication to the Spears School of Business and its generous support,” said Ken Eastman, Dean of the Spears School. “Over the years, HoganTaylor has launched the careers of many of our accounting students so it is very fitting that the new building’s ‘Team Room’ be named in the firm’s honor”.

2015 GRANTS AND SPONSORSHIPS In May of 2015, the HT Foundation awarded $28,000 in grants to 12 nonprofit organizations in Tulsa, Oklahoma City, Fayetteville and Little Rock, Arkansas. In addition, the firm contributed over $100,000 for nonprofit event sponsorships and fundraising programs.

ELEVATING OUR COMMUNITIES

TULSA FUNDRAISING In 2015, internal fundraising efforts in the Tulsa office raised money for several charities. A campaign for The American Cancer Society, which featured a dunk tank fundraising event, raised more than $15,000.

The Tulsa office also organized a team for the “Walk to End Alzheimer’s”, and, through their efforts, raised more than $5,000 to benefit the Alzheimer’s Association.

Thanks to the leadership of a team of HoganTaylor staff and professionals, over $60,000 was pledged during the Tulsa office’s 2015 internal campaign benefiting the Tulsa Area United Way.

VOLUNTEERING In 2015, our Tulsa professionals and staff served as firm volunteers for several area nonprofit organizations.

StoneSoup Community Venture, Inc. This nonprofit agency strives to promote equity and social mobility by supporting people in their right to grow their own food, eat healthy meals, learn new skills and advocate for a better world.

Governor Fallin’s “Feeding Oklahoma” Food Drive This annual food drive, led by Oklahoma Governor Mary Fallin, benefits the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma. HoganTaylor’s Tulsa office collected and contributed 484 lbs of food.

Tulsa Day Center for the Homeless An internal office “coat drive” resulted in seven large boxes filled with coats which were donated to the Center for the Homeless for distribution to those in need.

Tulsa Area United Way “Day of Caring” Our Tulsa staff and professionals volunteered with Camp Fire Green Country at their facility at Camp Waluhili. Staff and partners spent the day painting, re-screening windows and clearing brush.

Family & Children’s Services “Holiday Assistance Program” This program aims to make the holidays a little brighter for families in need. Our team adopted a family of seven and donated gifts for each family member, including clothes, books and toys.

Tulsa staff and professionals volunteered hundreds of hours to assist area nonprofits as they run and grow their organizations. Tulsa organizations that have HoganTaylor professionals serving as a board member or in other major leadership roles include Alzheimer’s Association, American Heart Association, Edison Foundation, Parent-Child Center, Ronald McDonald House, Tulsa Ballet, Tulsa Day Center for the Homeless and The South Tulsa Community House, to name just a few.

In 2015, The HoganTaylor Foundation was pleased to award grants to five Tulsa area nonprofit organizations.

OKLAHOMA CITY FUNDRAISING

VOLUNTEERING

In 2015, the Oklahoma City office initiated and supported several internal fundraising campaigns.

In 2015, our Oklahoma City professionals and staff served as firm volunteers individually and as a team.

In an effort to support the needs of Positive Tomorrows, an Oklahoma City nonprofit that operates a school for homeless children, our professionals held numerous internal social events and fundraising challenge events over a three month period, with more than $10,000 raised. Staff and Partners also visited the school pre and post campaign to meet the children and staff and to officially present the check to Positive Tomorrows’ Executive Director and Board member representative.

The Regional Food Bank Each year, the Oklahoma City office holds a Volunteer Night at the Regional Food Bank. This year, our people sorted and packed 18,705 lbs. of bread—enough to feed more than 15,500 people.

BOARD AND COMMITTEE LEADERSHIP

Throughout 2015, the staff and professionals in the Oklahoma City office participated in weekly OKC office “Jeans Days”. By year’s end, over $3,000 was raised for The Children’s Center Rehabilitation Hospital. Firm members enjoyed shopping for toys, clothes and other items from the hospital’s holiday “wish list”, and in early December, a representation of the staff visited the hospital and delivered the items.

HoganTaylor professionals in the Oklahoma City office serve area nonprofits as board members or in other major leadership roles at The Library Trust Foundation of OKC, The Myriad Gardens Foundation, The Friends of the OU Breast Institute, The Oklahoma Venture Forum, Sunbeam Family Services, Allied Arts, The First Tee of Metropolitan OKC, Oklahoma Children’s Theater and NewView, Reaching Our City, Inc., to name just a few.

HoganTaylor’s Oklahoma City office held an internal campaign and supported United Way of Central Oklahoma through individual pledges as well as a Firm contribution.

ELEVATING OUR COMMUNITIES

ARKANSAS FAYETTEVILLE FUNDRAISING HoganTaylor’s Fayetteville office raised more than $13,000 during their annual campaign for United Way of Northwest Arkansas. Funds were raised through a variety of campaign events with 100 percent participation from professionals and staff in the Fayetteville office.

HoganTaylor professionals and staff in the Fayetteville office raised approximately $2,000 for the American Diabetes Association by participating in Tour de Cure, a fundraising cycling event.

BOARD AND COMMITTEE LEADERSHIP Charitable organizations that have HoganTaylor professionals from Fayetteville serving as board members or in other major leadership roles include The Christian Orphan Fund, Fayetteville Public Library Foundation and Magdalene Serenity House, to name just a few.

LITTLE ROCK BIG DAYS AHEAD 2015 was an exciting year of growth for HoganTaylor. In January, we were pleased to expand our presence in Little Rock when local firm Hart, Chandler & Associates joined HoganTaylor. That “joining of forces” and the resulting increase in our services to clients in the Little Rock business community quickly moved us to new heights.

Giving back to the communities we serve has always been a part of who HoganTaylor is as a firm.

Professionals and staff in the Little Rock office are excited about new opportunities to serve their local community. Big days are ahead!

LOOK TO THE FUTURE In 2015, HoganTaylor was recognized as a Journal Record Beacon Award honoree, which recognizes organizations of all sizes for their commitment of time, talent and financial support to the communities they serve. It was an honor we greatly appreciated.
