Establishedin2008,theDonaldandBarbara ZuckerSchoolofMedicineat Hofstra/Northwellwasfoundedbytwo equalpartners:HofstraUniversityand NorthwellHealth.

TheSchoolofMedicineisbuiltuponthe strongclinicalandgraduatemedical educationprogramsofNorthwell,aswellas therobustresearchandacademic programsofbothHofstraandNorthwell’s FeinsteinInstitutesforMedicalResearch andColdSpringHarborLaboratories.

TheZuckerSchoolofMedicinehasbeen rankedamongthebestmedicalschoolsfor researchnationwidefortenyears(20162025)byU.S.News&WorldReport, achievingtop-tierstatusforthepasttwo years(2024-2025).
