Two sessions Saturday, October 21 and 28, 2017 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. • $250
This class teaches the (undamentals of Adobe Photoshop with easy-to-follow, practical examples. Topics covered include creating new documents, organ izing files, creating and using layers, using filters, adding typography to a compositi on, creating shapes, and applying effects. Students will leave th is class with a greater understandi ng of Photoshop and the inspiration to create.
DANCE ENRICHMENT Grades 9-12 Instructor: Professor Heather Waldon
One session Saturday, October 28, 2017 10 a.m.-3 p.m. • $250
This contemporary dance class - a fun and enriching dance experience for intermed iate and advanced dance students - offers students an opportunity to broaden the ir understanding of contemporary dance technique and explore the different approaches to choreography or dance making. After a technique lesson, we introduce various approaches used in choreographing solo dances and group work. Students have a chance to experiment wit h concepts in choreography and dance composition. Note: Students must bring lunch to class.
GRAPHIC DESIGN Instructor: Professor Evangeline Christodoulou Grades 9-12
Two sessions Saturday, November 4 and 11, 2017 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. • $250
This class draws from many aspects of art and design, including advertising, product design, and visual marketing, as well as other genres that a professional graphic designer might encounter. Students use Adobe Photoshop and Adobe lnDesign to develop their personal style. We explore digital and nondigital formats and techniques and create computer-based solutions to graphic art problems.

Students learn and use va rious digital methods and techniques to create their own art. We use computer programs to create digital art such as landscapes, mandalas, quilts, Notan, self-portraits, and more.
