HofSTRONG Workshops
SPRING 2020 New sessions start weekly! HofSTRONG workshops will help you develop the skills you need to stay mentally healthy, emotionally strong and cognitively flexible in the face of stress. These interactive workshops include opportunities for selfreflection and exercises to build skills. They require little selfdisclosure, so you can feel comfortable even if you are not ready to discuss your challenges in a group setting. Each workshop meets for 1 hour each week for 4 weeks. Workshops meet in Room 106 of the Wellness and Campus Living Center. All workshops are free!

Workshop Descriptions FeelSTRONG: Learn skills to help you survive life’s storms! Sometimes college can feel like an emotional maelstrom. This workshop focuses on strategies to manage intense emotions and build strong, healthy relationships. ThinkSTRONG: Change your thoughts! Change your feelings! Change your life! Do you struggle with negative self-talk? If so, this workshop will help you develop effective thinking patterns, so difficult thoughts don’t pull down your mood or stop you from reaching your goals. BeSTRONG: Make life meaningful When things get tough, it can be hard to keep moving towards your goals! This workshop helps students identify their values and engage in activities that are important to them, even when reality makes that difficult.
