GetInvolvedHU Organizational Classification Program

• Meet with the Associate Director/Assistant Director or

• Submit the Bi-Annual Review Form via GetInvolvedHU

graduate assistant for the Office of Student Leadership and Engagement for one-on-one meetings at least once each semester.

• Make sure that event contact information is correct with Event Management. • Maintain accurate roster, including officers/leadership positions on

PRIDE Classification:

by the last day of classes each semester (spring and fall).

GetInvolvedHU. All registered student organizations must maintain an up-to-date membership roster of no less than fifteen (15) members on GetInvolvedHU at all times. The Office of Student Leadership and Engagement may grant exceptions on a case-by-case basis. • Submit an Advisor Acknowledgment and Agreement Form by the end of September each year and maintain at least one full-time, on-campus advisor. • At least one officer representative is in attendance at the Fall Club Carnival and the Spring Involvement Fair.

Gold Classification:

• Complete all components of Blue Classification. • The organization president, vice president and treasurer (or a proxy) attend

the Fall Club Carnival and the Spring Involvement Fair. • Send at least one member to attend an on-campus leadership-focused conference. • A representative attends at least 50% of the scheduled Presidential Round Tables. • Complete two (2) Educational/Leadership Programs each year – These should be reported in the Annual Review. (Programs need to be approved by OSLE beforehand.) • School Spirit: Organizations should portray alma mater allegiance by participating in at least one campus activity, including: Hofstra Celebrates the Holidays, Fall Festival Activities, Serve with PRIDE Town Wide, Athletics Events, Open Houses, Welcome Week activities, etc. – At least 10% of organization will be present. (Activities should be approved by OSLE beforehand.)

• Complete all components of Gold Classification. • Complete two (2) additional Educational/Leadership Programs each year.

(Programs need to be approved beforehand.) • Organizational Development: Complete an organization assessment with the Associate Director and request a personalized workshop for your organization through OSLE. • A representative attends 100% of the scheduled Presidential Round Tables. • Student group organizes and engages in one community service project per year – 30% of active membership must be involved in each project. • Group participates in a collaborative program with another organization.
