ONBOARD EXPENSE ACCOUNT

Setting Up Your Account

If you did not set up an account during Online Check-In or during boarding in the cruise terminal, you can do so in the Royal App or at the Guest Services Desk on Deck 4. Onboard Expense Accounts can be set up with a credit card, a debit card, or cash. Our ships utilize a cashless system, so your SeaPass card will be the only way to make purchases while onboard. Please note that a temporary hold of $99.75 will be placed on your card to verify funds. Onboard purchases over $100 will generate additional holds. The hold will be released within 3 to 5 business days after your cruise ends, but can take up to 30 days, depending on your bank. You may add other guests to your expense account by visiting the Guest Services desk. A daily limit can be placed on arcade spending. All charges can be viewed in the Royal Caribbean App or on your Stateroom TV. Printed receipts will be provided for each onboard purchase, and a preliminary statement will be delivered to your stateroom on the last night of your cruise. A final statement will be e-mailed to you within 24 hours of departing the ship on the last day of your cruise. Guests on a cash account will need to settle their account at Guest Services prior to disembarking the ship.

SPECIALTY DINING RESERVATION

Specialty Dining reservations can be made through the Royal Caribbean App. You may also dial 7000 on your stateroom phone and select the restaurant you wish to dine in or visit the restaurant and make a reservation with the Maître d' outside. The Maître d' can also assist you with making changes to your seating.

Room Service

Continental breakfast is complimentary. Both the All-Day Menu and American Breakfast will have a delivery fee of $7.95 plus an 18% gratuity for each order. To view the menu, visit the Royal App or browse on the TV in your stateroom. When you’re ready to order, dial 7000 from your stateroom phone.

GRATUITIES

How much are gratuities

If not already pre-paid, a $18.00 gratuity ($20.50 for Suite guests) is added to each guest's onboard account daily to help recognize superior service from crew during your cruise. This gratuity is shared among dining & culinary services staff, stateroom attendants, and other hotel services teams working behind the scenes. In addition to daily gratuities, an 18% gratuity is automatically added to all beverage, mini bar items, specialty dining, and spa & salon purchases.

SeaPass Card Cash Limit

The credit limit for cash SeaPass cards is $500. Once this limit is reached, the account will be deactivated. To reactivate, a cash deposit is needed or simply link a credit card on the Royal App.

From Ship To Shore, Tender Boats Will Be in Operation Today

Guests on Royal Caribbean Shore Excursions do not require tender tickets, and should consult their Shore Excursion Ticket for onboard meeting time and location. For all other guests, complimentary tender tickets are required if you wish to head ashore today. We invite one person only to collect tickets, for every member in their travelling party, from 7:00 am - 10:00 am, in Music Hall Deck 4. Tenders run approximately every 20 to 30 minutes, with the ride taking approximately 15 minutes each way.

Port Advisory

All guests must have their SeaPass card and a government-issued Photo ID with them at all times while in port. Local authorities may ask you to present these forms of identification while visiting these destinations.

Shore Visits For Minors

Parents or guardians must not permit any guest in their care under the age of 18 to leave the ship in any port without responsible adult supervision.

Wheelchairs on Tenders

Only collapsible wheelchairs will be permitted on tenders. Guests must be able to make a few footsteps to get on and off the tender. Crew members are not allowed to lift wheelchairs with guest seated.

Alcohol Policy

Bar personnel may request verification age for service. The minimum drinking age onboard ships sailing from North America is 21 & 18 onboard ships sailing from South America, Europe, Asia, Australia & New Zealand.

In need of Euros?

You can withdraw Euros from the ATMs located on Deck 4 midship by Guest Services. Please note there is a €6.95 fee per transaction. You can also visit Guest Services on Deck 4 daily for assistance with currency exchange.

Local Port Agriculture Regulations

Please note that local port regulations prohibit the addition or removal of agricultural items such as food, fruits, plants, flowers, sea shells, bulbs, and rocks to or from the ship.

Transfers in Civitavecchia

Book your transfers to Rome Leonardo Da Vinci International Airport and Rome Ostiense Train Station. You may book on the Royal App or at Guest Services on Deck 4 no later than Day 5 at midnight. Transfers to Fiumicino Airport are $79 per person one way (earliest departure is at 6:45 am). Transfers to Ostiense Train are $95 per person one way (departure is at 9:15 am).

As you disembark the vessel, please pick up any items security withheld during your cruise from Terminal Security. Don’t forget your receipt!

Dry off and Drop Off

Don’t forget to return your pool towels back to the designated Towel Station when you’re done! A $25 replacement fee will be charged to your SeaPass card for each unreturned towel.
