ONBOARD EXPENSE ACCOUNT

Setting Up Your Account

If you did not set up an account during Online Check-In or during boarding in the cruise terminal, you can do so in the Royal App or at the Guest Services Desk on Deck 4. Onboard Expense Accounts can be set up with a credit card, a debit card, or cash. Our ships utilize a cashless system, so your SeaPass card will be the only way to make purchases while onboard. Please note that a temporary hold of $99.75 will be placed on your card to verify funds. Onboard purchases over $100 will generate additional holds. The hold will be released within 3 to 5 business days after your cruise ends, but can take up to 30 days, depending on your bank. You may add other guests to your expense account by visiting the Guest Services desk. A daily limit can be placed on arcade spending. All charges can be viewed in the Royal Caribbean App or on your Stateroom TV. Printed receipts will be provided for each onboard purchase, and a preliminary statement will be delivered to your stateroom on the last night of your cruise. A final statement will be e-mailed to you within 24 hours of departing the ship on the last day of your cruise. Guests on a cash account will need to settle their account at Guest Services prior to disembarking the ship.

How much are gratuities

If not already pre-paid, a $18.00 gratuity ($20.50 for Suite guests) is added to each guest's onboard account daily to help recognize superior service from crew during your cruise. From Ship To Shore, Tender Boats Will Be in Operation Today

Guests on Royal Caribbean Shore Excursions do not require tender tickets, and should consult their Shore Excursion Ticket for onboard meeting time and location. For all other guests, complimentary tender tickets are required if you wish to head ashore today. We invite one person only to collect tickets, for every member in their travelling party, from 8:00 am - 10:00 am, in Two70 Deck 5. Tenders run approximately every 20 to 30 minutes, with the ride taking approximately 15 minutes each way.

Shore Visits For Minors

Parents or guardians: If a minor (under the age of 18) is in your care, they must have adult supervision leaving and entering the ship.

Transfers in Civitavecchia

Book your transfers to Rome Leonardo Da Vinci International Airport and Rome Ostiense Train Station. You may book on the Royal App or at Guest Services on Deck 4 no later than Day 6 at noon. Transfers to Fiumicino Airport are $79 per person one way (earliest departure is at 6:45 am). Transfers to Ostiense Train are $95 per person one way (departure is at 9:15 am).

Watch Your Step When Walking to Fira

The easiest way to travel to and from Fira is by cable car. However, if you choose to walk, we urge you to use caution as conditions may be hazardous due to uneven surfaces and donkey led tours along the narrow pathway into town.

Wheelchairs on Tenders

Only collapsible wheelchairs will be permitted on tenders. Guests must be able to make a few footsteps to get on and off the tender. Crew members are not allowed to lift wheelchairs with guest seated.

Planning to go To Mykonos Town (Chora)?

The Mykonos local water taxi operates regular services from the New Port (Tourlos) where Odyssey will be berthed to the Old Port (Chora) of Mykonos Town, where you will find an array of cafes and shops. The water taxi departs from the end of the pier, very near to the ship. The journey time is approximately 8 minutes and the services operate regularly. Tickets can be purchased directly with the operator as you board, please note that they only accept cash.

Shore Visits For Minors

Parents or guardians: If a minor (under the age of 18) is in your care, they must have adult supervision leaving and entering the ship.

Transfers in Civitavecchia

Book your transfers to Rome Leonardo Da Vinci International Airport and Rome Ostiense Train Station. You may book on the Royal App or at Guest Services on Deck 4 no later than tomorrow at noon. Transfers to Fiumicino Airport are $79 per person one way (earliest departure is at 6:45 am). Transfers to Ostiense Train are $95 per person one way (departure is at 9:15 am).
