ONBOARD EXPENSE ACCOUNT

Setting Up Your Account

If you did not set up an account during Online Check-In or during boarding in the cruise terminal, you can do so in the Royal App or at the Guest Services Desk on Deck 5. Onboard Expense Accounts can be set up with a credit card, a debit card, or cash. Our ships utilize a cashless system, so your SeaPass card will be the only way to make purchases while onboard. Please note that a temporary hold of $99.75 will be placed on your card to verify funds. Onboard purchases over $100 will generate additional holds. The hold will be released within 3 to 5 business days after your cruise ends, but can take up to 30 days, depending on your bank. You may add other guests to your expense account by visiting the Guest Services desk. A daily limit can be placed on arcade spending. All charges can be viewed in the Royal Caribbean App or on your Stateroom TV. Printed receipts will be provided for each onboard purchase, and a preliminary statement will be delivered to your stateroom on the last night of your cruise. A final statement will be e-mailed to you within 24 hours of departing the ship on the last day of your cruise. Guests on a cash account will need to settle their account at Guest Services prior to disembarking the ship.

Specialty Dining Reservations

Specialty dining reservations can be made through the Royal Caribbean App. You may also dial 7000 on your stateroom phone and select the restaurant you wish to dine in or visit the restaurant and make a reservation with the Maître d' outside. The Maître d' can also assist you, with making changes to your seating.

Room Service

Continental breakfast is complimentary. Both the All-Day Menu and American Breakfast will have a delivery fee of $7.95 plus an 18% gratuity for each order. To view the menu, visit the Royal App or browse on the TV in your stateroom. When you’re ready to order, dial 7000 from your stateroom phone.

The evening before departure, you will receive the As You Depart flyer in your stateroom. The flyer details all the information you need to know for departure.

Purchase Internet packages from your device! Simply connect to the shipboard Wi-Fi network WiFi-Guest-Navigator and open your web browser to view available packages for your sailing.

How much are gratuities?

If not already pre-paid, a $18.50 gratuity ($21.00 for Suite guests) is added to each guest's onboard account daily to help recognize superior service from crew during your cruise. This gratuity is shared among dining & culinary services staff, stateroom attendants, and other hotel services teams working behind the scenes. In addition to daily gratuities, an 18% gratuity is automatically added to all beverages, mini bar items, specialty dining, and spa & salon purchases.

Important Information about Tendering Ashore

Today we will use tenders to go ashore in Catalina Island, California. Tenders will be available from approximately 8:30 am. If you are NOT on a Shore Excursion, tender tickets are available from the Main Dining Room, Deck 5 from 7:00 am - 10:00 am. One member from your party can collect tender tickets for everyone travelling with you, but only collect when you are all ready to go ashore. Please relax on decks 4 & 5 and listen to the announcements for your number to be called and gangway location. Guests participating in a Royal Caribbean Shore Excursion DO NOT require a tender ticket, but please refer to the instructions on your tour ticket. If you are in a wheelchair or using a scooter, you do not need to collect a tender ticket. You may proceed to the Forward gangway that is located by the forward elevators and join us there on Deck 1. Please join us with only 2 guests from your family/group. Exceptions can be made if you have children. Please be advised that the peak time will be between 9:30 am - 11:00 am. Once we go to open tender, we will ONLY use the Forward gangway to get off the ship, located on Deck 1.

Take Precautions Ashore

Avoid mass gatherings as a security precaution and avoid being late back to the ship. Be cautious and practice situational awareness when exploring new areas. If on a Shore Excursion, stick with your group. If traveling on your own, consider alternative routes and allow yourself extra travel time to and from the ship.

Los Angeles Departure

Departure information is available on channel 7 with your Cruise Director Daniel, who will provide essential communication on the departure process tomorrow in Los Angeles. Please refer to the flyer sent to your stateroom for departure lounges and schedule. You will be notified of your departure time on channel 2 on your stateroom television until 8:00 am, way finder maps and digital screens throughout the ship after this time. This is where the schedule will be continually updated. Please only depart the ship at your designated time.

Wheelchair Assistance

For wheelchair assistance in Los Angeles, please proceed starting at 7:30 am to the Boleros Bar, Deck 4 aft port-side, where our team will assist you with the wheelchair transfer to the terminal. Tonight, leave all your bags with luggage tags attached outside your stateroom door, no later than 10:00 pm. They will be delivered to the terminal where you will claim your bags in the area identified by the number on your luggage tag. This service is NOT for Self assist guests.

Please note that each port is under the control of the local authorities. Fines up to $15,000 USD can be imposed on guests failing to return onboard on time in Mexican ports of call.

Local Port Agriculture Regulations!

Please note that local port regulations prohibit the addition or removal of agricultural items such as food, fruits, plants, flowers, sea shells, bulbs, and rocks to or from the ship.

Smoking Policy in Mexico

Get ready for an amazing day in Mexico! Beginning January 15, 2023, Mexico has prohibited smoking including vaping and e-cigarettes in all public places. This includes popular tourist hotspots such as beaches, hotels, and parks. Please be mindful of the law during your visit.

Beat the Rush

Avoid lining up to settle your SeaPass account. Register your credit card at Guest Services, Deck 5 and no check-out will be required.

Transfers to the Airport

Guests with afternoon flights in Los Angeles can purchase transfer tickets to either LAX (Los Angeles International Airport) or LGB (Long Beach Airport). Tickets are available via the Royal Caribbean App or can be purchased at the Shore Excursions Desk on the last day of the cruise until noon.

Casino Redemption

Before the end of the cruise, redeem all of your casino chips, tokens or slot machine tickets. These items are not redeemable by mail, so be sure to visit the Cashiers Desk before you head home.
