Ontario Autism Program (OAP) Core Clinical Services offer interventions and supports designed to respond to the individual needs of children and youth on the autism spectrum, and their families.
Core Clinical Services are one of the streams of support for children and youth registered in the Ontario Autism Program. Based on your child’s individual needs, these Core Clinical Services can include:
• Applied behaviour analysis therapy (ABA)
• Speech-language therapy
• Occupational therapy
• Mental health services, including counselling and/or psychotherapy
• Technology, program materials and/or therapy equipment at the recommendation of a regulated professional delivering and/or overseeing services to the child

This assessment is used to evaluate a child’s practical daily living skills and/or why a behaviour is occurring in certain situations.
The Registered Behaviour Analyst - R.B.A (ONT) will meet with you to review a written report which will provide strategies and make recommendations regarding behaviour therapy. This includes:
• Interview with parent/caregiver
• Structured observations
• Direct assessment techniques
• Feedback meeting
• Written report
• Combination of in-person and virtual appointments

Our Comprehensive Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) service focuses on working 1:1 with the child and caregivers more intensively to teach multiple new skills and/or reducing interfering behaviours.
It typically ranges in intensity from 6-20 hours/week and focuses on a combination of caregiver goals and goals identified through assessment. This service can be done in centre and/or in home as determined by targeted goals.
An intake behavioural assessment will determine the recommended hours of intensity, the goals of intervention and length of service.
This program is supervised by a Registered Behaviour AnalystR.B.A. (ONT) and registered with the OAP provider list.
$149 / hour
Additional costs for travel and mileage for community and home sessions.
Our Focused ABA service centers on training caregivers on ABA strategies to teach their children/youth one new skill.
It typically ranges in intensity from 1-5 hours/week and focuses on caregiver goals. This service can be done in centre and/or in home as determined by the targeted goal.
An intake behavioural assessment will determine the recommended hours and length of service.
This program is supervised by a Registered Behaviour AnalystR.B.A. (ONT) and registered with the OAP provider list.
$149 / hour
Additional costs for travel and mileage for community and home sessions.

The total package is 16 hours of direct 1:1 teaching with children/ youth and caregivers over a 12 week period. Travel costs included.
This package focuses on teaching children/youth and caregivers strategies to increase independence as they transition to adulthood. This includes how to goal set, self-advocacy, organizational skills, job readiness, banking and daily living like cooking, cleaning, healthy eating and self-hygiene.

The total package is 16 hours of direct 1:1 teaching with children/ youth and caregivers over a 12 week period. Travel costs included.
This package focuses on teaching children/youth and caregivers strategies to increase emotional regulation. This includes labeling, recognizing, understanding, and managing emotions effectively as well as coping strategies.

The total package is 16 hours of direct 1:1 teaching with caregivers over a 12 week period. Travel costs included.
This package focuses on teaching caregivers the fundamentals of Applied Behaviour Analysis. This includes the ABC’s of behaviour, functions of behaviour, behaviour management, teaching a replacement behaviour, proactive and reactive strategies.

This package focuses on unlocking new adventures and learning opportunities for community outings. This includes teaching safety skills, community rules, proactive strategies and introducing new settings.

The total package is 18 hours of direct 1:1 teaching with children and caregivers.
Our Toileting package is designed to provide intensive, structured support to help children achieve toileting independence. This program combines evidence-based strategies with personalized care to ensure success.
OPTION 1: 18 hours over 3 days
OPTION 2: 18 hours over 12 weeks

The total package is 18 hours of direct 1:1 teaching with children and caregivers over a 12 week period. Travel costs included.
This package focuses on teaching developmentally appropriate early learning skills to children and caregivers. This includes teaching play skills, communication skills, self-care skills, turn taking, and other early learning skills.

The total package is 18 hours of direct 1:1 teaching with children/ youth and caregivers over a 12 week period. Travel costs included.
This package focuses on increasing functional communication skills to help children express their needs and reduce frustration. This includes choosing a communication model that works for you and your child then implementing strategies to enhance forms of communication.

The total package is 19 hours of direct 1:1 teaching with children/ youth and caregivers over a 12 week period. Travel costs included.
This package focuses on teaching desensitization to children to help manage sensory sensitivities and engage more comfortably in various activities. This can include desensitization to haircuts, doctor/dentist appointments, public bathrooms, etc.

Our clinical groups offer children and youth the support to develop skills in play, social-emotional regulation, dating, careers, and more!
Our group participants are matched based on their age, skills, and goals to make the group fun and successful for everyone.
This program is supervised by a Registered Behaviour AnalystR.B.A. (ONT) and registered with the OAP provider list.
$520 and up
Pricing is based on hours per group.
Families can use personal funds, core clinical services funds, and in some cases special services at home funding (for groups only).
Quotes are provided to families to determine an estimate of cost for each block of service before services begin.
All services are prepaid before services begin. For families who do not have Core Clinical Services funding, weekly payments may be accepted.
All receipts meet the guidelines for Access OAP. There is a $50 administration fee per service contract.
Receipts are processed monthly and sent via email to caregivers on the 15th after services have been rendered.
Payments can be made by e-transfer and/or cheque.
