Election Update: Planning under the Biden Administration
It is too early to know exactly what tax laws will look like in 2021, but we do know that some of President-Elect Biden’s key proposals are relevant to your estate planning. Tax issues are important, but taxes should not overshadow the need to get your affairs in order in case of an untimely death or disability. If it has been some time since you reviewed your estate planning documents such as wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives, now is a great time to do so.
