是次香港首演，三浦文彰將聯同香港小交響樂團及意大利指揮家克魯德勒演 出蕭斯達高維契在政局動蕩下創作的A小調第一小提琴協奏曲。樂團還會演 奏另外三位俄國音樂巨匠的經典作品，包括史達拉汶斯基和浦羅哥菲夫趣意 盎然的新古典樂風作品，以及柴可夫斯基根據但丁的《地獄篇》中，弗蘭切 斯卡的愛情悲劇所創作的「交響幻想曲」。

Four of the greatest and most influential Russian masters are brought together in this concert. Violin prodigy Fumiaki Miura makes his Hong Kong début with Shostakovich’s first Violin Concerto, where the composer, just denounced by the Soviet Party for “formalistic distortions and antidemocratic tendencies alien to the Soviet People”, sought freedom through this original work. Representing the neoclassical style are Stravinsky’s Suite after his Easy Piano Pieces and Prokofiev's most beloved Classical Symphony. The concert concludes with Tchaikovsky’s heartrending “symphonic fantasy”, telling the tragic love story of Francesca da Rimini in Dante’s Inferno.
