帕格尼尼大賽冠軍 深情演繹西貝遼士小提琴協奏曲 ＋ 舞壇鬼才伍宇烈新編《圓舞曲》

Since taking First Prize at the 1999 Paganini Competition – the first Japanese and youngest artist ever to do so – Sayaka Shoji has performed with the world's leading conductors including Ashkenazy, Dutoit, Jansons, Maazel, Mehta and Pappano; alongside orchestras such as the Berliner Philharmoniker, Bayerischer Staatsorchester, Gewandhausorchester Leipzig, New York Philharmonic, Israel Philharmonic and St Petersburg Philharmonic. In addition to a busy schedule of concerto performances, she appears regularly as a recitalist and chamber musician alongside colleagues such as Vadim Repin, Lang Lang, Itamar Golan, Yefim Bronfman and Steven Isserlis.

Sayaka Shoji will perform the great Sibelius Violin Concerto with Hong Kong Sinfonietta on the 1729 “Recamier” Stradivarius.

The orchestra will also play the composer’s mythology inspired tone poem The Swan of Tuonela and Ravel’s tribute to the waltz – La Valse. The concert will end with the world première of Artist Associate Yuri Ng’s new choreography to the latter.

位贏得帕格尼尼小提琴大賽冠軍的日本演奏家，2008年來港 與香港小交響樂團的演出技驚四座，這次音樂會她將演繹感 情澎湃的西貝遼士的小提琴協奏曲。西貝遼士另一作品《圖 奧奈拉的天鵝》是根據芬蘭神話而寫的交響詩，描述一隻神 秘優雅的天鵝以及神話英雄雷敏凱連的愛情故事，意境幽 深。音樂會還包括拉威爾色彩豐富的《圓舞曲》以及編舞家 伍宇烈與樂團攜手打造的全新演繹版本，把《圓舞曲》高 貴及熱情的一面呈現眼前。
