Dear Sir/Madam, This letter is an expression of interest should there be a Pastry Chef Apprenticeships opportunity. I have great aspirations for a career as a pastry chef and I am passionate about learning and gaining as much experience as I can in this field. Having been exposed to a diverse range of sweets and desserts in Melbourne, I have developed a passion for baking. Highly encouraged to re-create the beautiful desserts that I had the pleasure to admire and sample. I have been waiting for an opportunity to come along whereby I would be able to learn the proper techniques and apply my knowledge at the same time. I completed my Master of Professional Accounting at Monash University at the end of 2009. I have been working in the accounting field for the past three and a half years. To fulfill the requirements of my job, I work unsupervised but within a team environment. Being exposed with the multiple deadlines that I need to meet each month, I am able to work well under pressure. I am also an efficient and organized worker with excellent attention to details. In addition, I have taken some short courses with William Angliss Institute, Carrick Education and Bake Boss. To name a few: Modern French and Classic Gateaux and Tarts, Simply Macaron, Cupcake Baking & Decorating class and Cake Artistry Class. I have also attended the Le Petit Gateau Classics demonstration class at CAE Education. My resume, which is enclosed, contains additional information on my experience and skills.
