Space 1 is a movable office phone booth with world leading sound reduction level.
Silen Spaces are designed with sustainability at its core. By offering wheels and modularity as standard features, companies are able to utilise our Spaces in multiple ways.
Not only does this reduce the amount of floor space companies require, but it also extends the life cycle of our products. We are jet to have any of our products reach the end of their lifecycle. We estimate that the lifecycle of the Silen Space product line is at least 20 years.
This is based on a lifecycle assessment and excludes wearable parts such as electrical components, hinges and locks.

This extends the lifecycle of the product beyond its initial use. No Silen Space products have ever reached the end of their lifecycle. This is a fact we are quite proud of. We estimate the product has a lifecycle of 20 years. This means that the product range can bring silence to multiple organisations throughout its lifecycle. We can further extend the lifecycle of our products by completely refurbishing and reassembling our products as seen in the Silenbooking program. Our products are completely recyclable, meaning they can be sent to any plant in the world and be turned back into raw materials. WOOD: All our plywood suppliers are required to have FSC certification
WOOD GLUE: comes with M1 Emission Classification certification
ACOUSTIC FOAM: carries the OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 label
LAMINATE IN SIDE MODULES: certified by Greenguard and PEFC (for sustainable forest management)
FLOOR FINISHES: certified by CRI Green Label Plus (for very low emissions of VOCs)
UPHOLSTERING FOAMS: certified by and conform to the CertiPURstandard
ALL PLYWOOD and other composite materials used are CARB 2compliant
