MANAGEMENT MESSAGE Dear Colleagues, In the midst of today’s fast changing EMS industry across the globe, we will continue the philosophy of “Connect, Collaborate and Engage” for our most important pillar of SVI i.e. our Colleagues.

There is no doubt that last year has been remarkable in many ways. We feel humbled more than ever, you all have showcased your spirit of standing together and stronger in unprecedented times when world was/is battling an invisible enemy in the form of Covid.

We trust and continue to strive to our vision of “Superior Service and Highest Quality”. Our colleagues are integral part of the organization and as we aspire to become USD 1 Billion Enterprise by year 2024, a constant communication on every inch of our progress becomes inevitable.

We are pleased to introduce “SVI REFLEXION” a quarterly newsletter which will feature various aspects of Business updates, Industry updates, learning & reward, Global SVI news and Trivia which will make it an interesting read.

Through this newsletter, we intend to reach to all our colleagues across SVI Global. We also take opportunity to wish you all Happy Songkran!

NEW MAJOR CONTRACT ENABLES BIGGEST INVESTMENT IN EQUIPMENT FOR YEARS Further investments in new equipment and state-of-the-art technologies are already planned in order to maintain the quality of electronics production at the usual high level.

SVI Austria is investing in new state-of-the-art equipment, such as a selective soldering system that extends over a total length of 16m (currently the manufacturer's fastest and largest system), an innovative coating line for UV coating and a laser marking system for PCB marking.

In combination with internal projects - focused on improving the plant structure and optimizing material flow - efficiency and productivity can once again be increased.

SALE OF SHARES OF SVI AUSTRIA’S SUBSIDIARY IN HUNGARY On 1st March 2022 SVI Austria GmbH, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company, has signed a Share Purchase Agreement to divest 49% (“First Transaction”) of its shareholding in SVI Hungary Kft. to ml&s Personalservice GmbH and ESCHA GmbH & Co. KG. SVI Austria will continue to be a major shareholder in SVI Hungary Kft. with 51% ownership for an interim period of 2 years, and thereafter, the Purchasers will acquire the remaining 51% (“Second Transaction”). duotec - with its subsidiary ml&s Personalservice GmbH & Co.KG - is a leading German

company in the EMS sector with a total turnover of over EUR 230 million.

This new partnership opens up new business opportunities for the SVI Group and especially for the location in Hungary.

Significant increases in sales, new customer orders and investments in new equipment will be made possible by this partnership.

This business transaction has no impact on the location in Austria.

HOW TO ACHIEVE COMPANY GOAL 2022

This is such a great time to be working for SVI! Even though the world has suffered from both Covid and the shortages of electronic components for the past 2 years, SVI has continued to grow and post record revenue and profits in 2021! This is all because of one thing…our people.

Velocity This is the speed at which we react to issues.

Not addressing a situation quickly often leads to the problem getting much worse, whether it’s a quality issue on the line, a payment issue with a supplier, an internal approval, or whatever else comes up. The longer it sits, the harder it is to resolve.

The future of SVI has never looked better. With a record customer backlog of orders, we are almost certain to post even better results in 2022. The expansions currently underway of our factories in Cambodia and Slovakia gives us additional capacity to continue to add business for customers in low-cost regions in Asia and Europe.

Austria has positioned itself to become a market leader in the Automotive Segment. The acquisition of Tohoku provides SVI with some of the best mechanical capabilities of any EMS of our size in the world. And our headquarters factory continues to add capabilities like lights out manufacturing and other tools to keep us ahead of the competition. We are well set to be a billion+ dollar company in 2023.

CEO’s vision has always kept us preparing for and investing in the future, with the additions of key people and tools to make us best-in-class. Nothing is more important than quality, and our quality team and systems have been world-class for many years. Our manufacturing organizations in all factories are performing the best that they ever have.

We have spent the past 2 years rebuilding the Supply Chain team, with the addition of many talented and experienced people throughout the organization, with the aim to be the best SCM team of any EMS of our size in the world. We have experienced many challenges, with the semiconductor industry only able to produce 60% of global demand, with temporary Covid-related shutdowns at many factories, with raw material shortages, and significant price increases. Never before has the industry seen so much stress on the global supply chain, and never before has a period of allocation lasted so long. But our team is up to the task, working long hours and weekends working to find solutions for customers, constantly inventing ways to be more effective and share information more quickly. We are far from perfect, but every day we strive to improve.

What do we need to do to ensure we continue with this growth plan long term? After quality, the most important thing is customer satisfaction. Remember that customers are not only our external customers, but other SVI team members, as well. Every single one of us needs to focus on supporting each other by ensuring that everyone’s needs are met.

Communication is the basis for any community to thrive. We set up CFT’s to ensure that everyone is working together as a team to resolve issues in support of our customers and to break down silos between departments. I would say that this is probably the biggest focus area for improvement for SVI at this time.

Consider your email. Almost everyone receives more than they want, and it often becomes overwhelming to manage it. But consider just one critical email that remains unread in your inbox.

This actually contributes to all 3 of the above issues. If you haven’t seen the email, you don’t know what your actions are, so you do not know you accountable to solve an issue. The longer it sits unread, the longer it takes to resolve, so the velocity requirement fails. And communication flows 2 ways. It’s both sharing information (whether written, visibly or verbally) and receiving (whether listening, watching or reading). Unless both parties participate in the communication, it will not be successful.

How do we solve this? First of all, reduce the number of emails you send. And copy only those that need or want to know on content. Instead, focus on more immediate forms of response, such as in-person, telephone, and Teams meetings, or chat messages.

Secondly, spend that little bit of extra time each day to catch up on those emails you do receive to make sure you haven’t missed anything important. Once you are caught up, it’s much easier to stay caught up.

2022 will be a year of change. We have many projects underway to improve tools, systems and simplify processes in all aspects of the organization. We ask that everyone contribute by making suggestions to your managers on how you think we can improve, reduce, and simplify.

I often tell my team that nearly every internal problem is caused by one or more of the following 3 things :

If everyone concentrates on those areas, continues to focus on the needs of our customers, and of course always put quality first, there is no stopping where SVI can go.

Accountability Everyone needs to be responsible to make sure they have done every task to the best of their ability. If you don’t know how to do it or can’t complete it on your own, it’s your responsibility to ask for help.

We can never leave a job unfinished.

I am very proud to be a part of SVI. We have shown through the flood, through the fire, and now through Covid and the global materials shortages that we are strong, resilient and that nothing can stop us! Let’s continue to do our best to make this the greatest EMS in the industry. Never take our eyes of the goal!

APPRENTICESHIP TRAINING AT SVI AUSTRIA – THE DUAL EDUCATION SYSTEM In Austria there are various opportunities for professional training, one option is the dual apprenticeship training, which is an excellent education that combines practice and theory.

By the opportunity to train our future skilled workers ourselves, we gain high potentials and technical experts for our production site.

Currently, 12 dedicated apprentices are trained in 4 different apprenticeships at SVI Austria.

Again SVI Austria is offering apprenticeships to young people in the following apprenticeship occupations starting in September 2022

The apprentice completes the majority of the training through practical work in a company, in order to study the theoretical background and a deepening of general knowledge the student attends a professional school. Thus a qualified and complete vocational training is acquired. The final apprenticeship examination is taken by professional experts after 3 resp.

SVI YOUNG TALENT PROGRAM 2022 AT SVI THAILAND AND SVI (AEC), CAMBODIA SVI Young Talent Program, also commonly known as Graduate engineer (GET) Program, is company's initiative to prepare future leadership of the company. Total 15 young talent for SVI, Thailand and 9 for SVI (AEC), Cambodia have been identified to be associated with us in Q1 and Q2’22. These young talent are high-potential, highly-motivated fresh graduates from top universities in the country - and abroad - who go through rigorous development journey in the program. The development path itself consists of in-class sessions , mentoring program and significantly on-the-job tasks and projects, which will enable them to progress their expertise and career expediently.

At the end of the program, the trainees will then be assigned at respective departments based on business needs. Moving forward, they are expected to be potential leaders in the future, basing off their relationship of the rigorous journey that they've traveled together and collectively progressing all group, towards excellence.
