and are lifetime trustees at Wellness House, a Hinsdale-based non-profit organization offering programs that educate, support and empower those affected by cancer both physically and emotionally. For more than 25 years, Terri has been volunteering at The Courtyard, the consignment shop that houses high-end, gently-used furniture and decor in downtown Hinsdale. Proceeds from The Courtyard directly support Wellness House. Following his parents’ legacy at Wellness House, Jessie is also an avid volunteer there and beyond. “I look at giving back as very important,” he said. “We have been blessed over the years, and doing charitable work is important.” Jessie serves as the secretary on the board of directors of HCS Family Services. “[At HCS], we are dedicated to strengthening our community by reducing hunger and promoting self-sufficiency,” he said. The organization provides support to more than 3,700 low-income individuals in Hinsdale, Clarendon Hills, Darien, Burr Ridge, Westmont, Willowbrook, Oak Brook and other communities in southeast DuPage County.
