Hindustan Horse Riding Club participated in the Men’s and Women’s Individual Category at the South Zone Equestrian Championship organised by the Chennai Equitation Centre on 18 and 19 Feb. 2022 and obtained Gold (Soyal Khan - BBA Logistics) and Bronze (Lipika Pilli) Medals respectively.
IGNUS -INTER-DEPARTMENTAL SPORTS FEST

IGNUS, an Inter-Departmental Sports Fest was organized from 4 to 18 April 2022. Various indoor, outdoor, track and field events for students and staff members were held for both staff and students. Ms. Sharadha Narayana, Former International Athlete presided over the valedictory function and awarded the winners and runners with Medals and Certificates. RESULTS: 1. Category: Students (Men & Women) * First Place: Department of BBA. * Second Place: Department of Computer Science & Engineering. 2. Category: Staff - Men * First Place: School of Aeronautical Sciences. * Second Place: Department of Administration. 3. Category: Staff - Women * First Place: Department of Administration. * Second Place: School of Liberal Arts and Applied Sciences & School of Allied Health Sciences.
SOUTH ZONE INTER UNIVERSITY CRICKET TOURNAMENT


Hindustan Institute of Technology & Science hosted South Zone Inter University Cricket Men Tournament from 6 to 15 June 2022. University of Madras bagged the Winners Trophy while PES University, Bengaluru lifted the Runners-Up Trophy.


Hindustan Institute of Technology & Science hosted All India Inter University Basketball Men Tournament from 21 to 24 March 2022. University of Madras, Chennai, Tamil Nadu clinched the Winner’s trophy; and Jamia Millia Islamia University, New Delhi bagged the Runner Up Trophy out of the 16 teams, across North, South, West and East Zones, which played on League cum Knock Out basis.
WAKO INDIANATIONAL KICK BOXING TRAINING CAMP
Tamil Nadu State Amateur Kickboxing Association [TNSKA] organized WAKO India National Kickboxing Training Camp at HITS from 9 to 16 April 2022. Over 300 participants across the nation underwent vigorous training from veteran boxing coaches— Mr. Nordio Manuel, International Coach, Italy; Mr. Gianpaolo Calajo, International Coach, Italy; and Mrs. Yvonne Murray, Assistant Coach, Norway. Hon’ble Thiru. Gingee K.S. Masthan, Minister of Minorities Welfare, Non-Resident Tamils Welfare, Refugees & Evacuees and Wake Board, Tamil Nadu presided over the valedictory ceremony.
