HOLI VIBRANCE’21 & AND FIESTA’21

The 2-day celebration saw a huge contingent of cultural troupes of about 4500+ registrations with 720 teams for 49 events. The veteran experts and senior level professors adjudged the events. DJ Night Featuring DJ Sam (Indian Music), and DJ Priyanka (International Music) on 5 April 2022 elevated the evening’s energy. The live Music Concert of the Non-Violinist Project comprising of Super Singer famed Anand Aravindakshan, Rakshita Suresh, Diwakar, Srinisha Jayaseelan on the evening of 6 April 2022 filled the music on air with vibrant notes letting the crowd gently groove.

HITS Music Club participated in "Literosody Fest 2022", a virtual Music band competition organized by DG Vaishnav College, Chennai on 6 Jan. 2022. Band W.O.M.A.N. won FIRST place, and Band Ex won SECOND place.

Folklore 2022 - Symphony of the World

HITS Dance Club participated and won Runner-up in “UTSAV Cultural Fest 2022”, competition organized by MCC College, Chennai on 7 May 2022.

PRAYAAS - DB Jain College

A total of 14 students gave musical performance at Folklore 2022 - Symphony of the World organised by American International University, Bangladesh (AIUB) on 21 Feb. 2022.

KALOPSIA -SDNB Vaishnav College

Band POORVANG bagged SECOND prize in the Solo Singing, and FIRST Prize in the Singing category at the state level cultural festival “PRAYAAS 2022”, conducted by the Department of Commerce and Research of DB Jain College Chennai on 8 Apr. 2022. HITS Music Club bagged Runner-up title in "KALOPSIA Cultural Fest 2022" organized by SDNB Vaishnav College, Chennai on 28 Apr. 2021.

About “The Dinner Dilemma”

“Open House 2022” was organized for the schools across Chennai city on 17 and 18 March, 2022. Students and staff from 24 schools comprising class 10, 11 and 12 visited HITS during the open house. Both school students and their teachers explored various facets of HITS and got an opportunity to interact with the staff and students of HITS. They also got an insight of the academic and research programmes offered by the various departments, and information on the extra-curricular activities while experiencing the aura of the campus. Lectures, project displays, department and lab visits showcasing the infrastructure and students’ academic, research and extracurricular facilities were also a part of the event. The event was inaugurated on 17 March 2022. The chief was Mr. Vijayakumar, Assistant Vice President, QMAX Group.

Sponsor Event The Chennai Photo Biennale

The Chennai Photo Biennale 2021 was held between 9 December 2021 and 6 February 2022. Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science was the academic sponsor for the event. The Biennale was hosted at six venues across Chennai and witnessed more than ten thousand visitors.
