ACTIVITIES
"Femella", a sanitary napkin Donation Drive was organized in view of Women's Day in Govt. Girls Higher Secondary School, Kelambakkam on 8 Mar. 2022. 500 napkins given by Hindustan students were donated to Govt. School students. 20 students (comprising HITS, KCG, HCAS, HIET) participated in "ROTASIA" - South Asia Rotaract Conference held at Esthell Village Resort from 17 to 20 Mar. 2022.

* Installation of Y's Hindustan Youth Club was held on 14 July 2021 at KCG College of Technology. * Blood Donation Camp in association with with KCG Charitable Foundation organized on 14 Feb. 2022 at
HITS. Rtn. Dr. NandaKumar, District Governor (Elect), Rotary District 3232 inaugurated the camp along with Rtn. Rajiv Sampat, President, Rotary Club of Chennai Capital; Rtn. Vishal, RCCC, and Rtn. Ravindran,
Blood Donation Chairman, Rotary Club of Mithra. A total of 344 units were collected from students and staffs.
* Celebrated “NSS Day" on 24 Sept. 2021 with a guest lecture on a talk on "Unnat Bharat Abhiyan and its
Opportunities for Students" by Dr. B. S. Murty, Professor, Civil Department, UBA Coordinator, IIT Madras. * Celebrated Y's Men Centenary Year along with other Y's Clubs of Hindustan Group of Institutions by giving 10000 foods to orphanages and old age homes on 23, 24, & 25 Sept. 2021. Verghese, India Area president, Y's men international flagged off the event on 23 Sept. 2021 at HHO,
Guindy. * Conducted a Beach Cleaning Campaign to spread awareness about saving our natural resourcesand keeping the environment clean on 12 Dec. 2021 at Broken Bridge, Besant Nagar. * Free Dental Screening Camp in association with Chettinad Dental Research Institute was organised on 10 Mar. 2022 in HITS campus benefitting more than 100 students and staff.

Conducted "Swachhata Pakhwada", a cleanliness campaign in and around HITS campus on 17 Sept. 2021. More than 200 students participated.
Hosted Rotary Youth Leadership Academy (Awards) RYLA –ATHIBAN along with HIET, KCG College of Technology, and Hindustan College of Arts and Science, and sponsored by Rotary Club of Chennai Capital at HITS Campus on 8, 9, & 10 Apr. 2022. Rtn. Vivek Harinarain, IAS (Rtd.), Founder & MD, Tennex Consultant Pvt. Ltd.; & Rtn. Sesha M Sai, Honorary Consul General Republic of Seychelles presided over the event as Chief Guests and delivered a special address. Rtn. Rajiv Sampat, President – RCCC; Rtn. Vishal Jindal, Youth Service Director – RCCC; Rtr. Vidya Ragu, District RYLA Chairperson; and special invitees, Rtr. PP. Kamuvel (DRR); Rtr. PP. Dinesh Kumar (DRS); and many other special speakers graced the occasion. Over 150 Rotaractors attended.

FG. OFFR. GIRI RANGARAJAN FLYING OFFICER
* Granted permission for inducting Army and Naval Wings of NCC at campus under FSFS (Fully Self-Financing Scheme). * All the Airwing Cadets (Prefinal and Final Year) were given flying experience and training to fly Microlite Aircraft. and drills with weapon, firing 22mm riffle, and skeet shooting training at Air Force Station. * Cadets proved their will and determination in achieving the needed training and obtained their B and C Certificates after passing the respective exams. * LFC Deva Prasan V represented Tamil Nadu Dte in all India Skiing Camp held at J&K, Phalgham from 3 to 18 Jan. 2022. He had completed basic skiing course and recommended for intermediate course.
