DAAD Academic Exchange Program

By providing funding for people from all countries of the world and facilitating diverse intercultural encounters, the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) strengthens diversity and mutual understanding. Under Service Prof. Dr. M Jaikumar, Head, Dr T. Shanmuganathan, Assistant Professor, Mr. S. K. Vignesh, Research Scholar and 4 Under Graduate Students from the Department of Automobile Engineering, visited ADAS Vehicle Testing, Integration Facilities and Automated Driving Systems at ZF ADAS Validation Centre, Koblenz on 12 July 2022. They were accompanied by Prof. Dr. Peter Koenig and students from Trier University of Applied Sciences, Germany. During the visit, ZF ADAS Team Mr. Niklas Geiss, Dr. Christian Fuahs and Dr. Constanze Pradarutti briefed the visitors on ADAS Validation and Homologation with breakthrough Data and AI.

Researcher Visit
Deakin University Study Tour
The students, under the Blue Marble Study Tour, visited Deakin University, Australia between 30 October and 7 November 2022. Mr. R. Jagadeesh, Ms. Siri Reddy, IIIyear B. Tech., students of Mechanical Engineering and Mr. Abishek Reddy S, III-year B. Tech. CSE (Data Science) participated in the tour. As a part of the study tour, students had academic deliberations with the expert Professors of Deakin University, project consultations, lab visits and local tour.

Ms. Bakkialakshmi. V. S., a Full-Time Research scholar from CSE visited Austria (Europe) on an academic World Technologies Universities Network (WTUN) research exchange for two weeks during the month of October 2022. She had the opportunity to visit partner university research centres, and meet the local researchers. The visit was worth more than 2000 GBP and was funded by the WTUN.
