Centre of Excellence in Satellite Technology
The advanced research centre aims to nurture and accelerate the growth of Space based technological applications for the benefit of society and to impart advanced training and research in the field of Satellite Technology and Development. The facility was unveiled by Dr. S. Somanath, Chairman, Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) in the presence of Dr. M Ravichandran, Secretary, Ministry of Earth Sciences and Dr. Mrs. Elizabeth Verghese, Founder Chancellor HITS on 30 September 2022.

Centre of Excellence in Underwater Robotics and Communication
The Centre aims to establish advanced research and development in various areas of ocean engineering. It will offer unique research opportunities for students and industry partners through its under graduate and post graduate level advanced research projects along with regular Ph.D. research work.
