Theatrical Time!

Cast and crew of “Two Adorable Losers” with HITS team. Two Adorable Losers, an English comedy starring Darsheel Safarey, the fame of Taare Zameen Par was hosted at HITS by ACT 1, SCENE 1 theatre group. The comedy captured the complexity of relationship shared between a statistic Professor whose English competency is just average and his On 27 March 2019, Athena’s Masquerade Theatre Club – one of the English Literary Clubs of the Department of Languages celebrated the World Theatre Day “Above & Beyond” - a sojourn through drama presenting a full-fledged triple production show in three different acts namely, “The Prisoners,” “Return of the Queen,” and “Anima Verto.” Around 70 students had quality time watching Wild Tales drama directed by Mr. Sriram Jeevan at the TTK Music Academy on 4 November 2018. HITS was the proud knowledge sponsor of this event. Wild Tales is a compilation of 4 short stories: a thief, a prostitute, a couple and a policeman; each depicting on wild incidents that do not happen in an ordinary life. Though the stories and motives differ, they all have a common element that they are wild in their own way.

Sangamam 2019

SANGAMAM 2019, District 82 Division G Annual Toastmasters Conference was hosted at HITS on 07 April 2019. Sangamam is a confluence of proficient public speakers who battle it out for prepared and the impromptu speech contest to achieve the most coveted Best Speaker award. Gopi, Mimicry Artist and Standup Comedian were the key note speakers. Contests were conducted amongst eight winners shortlisted through area contests. The conference concluded with awards given to the best three speakers shortlisted for participating in the District Conference OVATION 2019 to be held at Chennai Trade Centre, Chennai, India.
