The drive follows rivers Yamuna and Tons on the way. Kempty falls lies on the route. DAY 2 - TREK FROM SANKRI TO SIKOLTA Distance: 5 KM | Duration: 4 to 5 hours Altitude: 6,500 feet to 8,900 feet Type of Accommodation: Tents - Camping The trek is a short but the trail is steep on the first day, ascending through a dense pine forest. DAY 3 - TREK FROM SIKOLTA TO
Distance: 5 KM | Duration: 4 to 5 hours
Altitude: 8900 feet to 11,180 feet
Type of Accommodation: Tents - Camping
Gradual ascent throughout the day. We cross tree line of pine, Deodhar, rhododendrons and enter the meadows at Bhoj Gadi. The nearby peaks shimmer with a golden hue during twilight hours.
DAY 4 - BHOJGADI TO PUSHTARA VIA PHULARA
Distance: 10 KM | Duration: 6 to 7 hours
Altitude: 11,180 feet to 9,850 feet via 12,350 feet
Type of Accommodation: Tents - Camping
We walk across the spectacular ridge today for over 2 hours. The campsite at Pushtara is the most remarkable across the trek, with alpine meadows and a dwarf rhododendron surrounding.
DAY 5 - PUSHTARA TO TALUKA, FURTHER TO SANKRI
Distance: 8 KM | Duration: 4 to 5 hours - 10 KM drive in 1 Hour
Altitude: 9,850 feet to 6,500 feet
Type of Accommodation: Guest House
Trail goes through a dense forest today. This route is hardly trekked upon. Descend all the way to Taulka from where a drive takes us to Sankri
DAY 6 - SANKRI TO DEHRADUN
Distance: 190 KM | Duration: 9 hours
Trip Ends - arrive in Dehradun between 5 & 7 PM
We take the same route as day 1, however we may skip Mussoorie and drive via Vikasnaga to avoid traffic Jam on certain days. If you plan to disembark at Mussoorie inform the driver beforehand
