Har Ki Dun ₨ 8,500 Har Ki Dun is an Enthralling valley in the Garhwal Himalayas Har Ki Dun Trek is a part of Govind Wildlife Sanctuary in the Garhwal Himalayas of Uttarkashi district in Uttarakhand. No doubt, the Himalayas have enchanting beauty, bracing climate and desirable soothing green. So, what else can be better than spending some days here in the serenity! The peaks and glaciers in the Bandarpoonch range consequently makes Har Ki Dun trek a mountaineer’s delight. The path follows the Tons River from Netwar village through Gangad, Seema and Osla villages.

Most importantly, this hanging valley in Grahwal has a strong mythological tale. According to the legend, the Pandavas from the epic Mahabharata roamed here and took the route via Swargarohini while their ascent to heaven. So, this is the reason why Har Ki Dun is known as “The Valley of Gods”.
