Learn important insights regarding the new federal tax legislation and its implications for real estate and wealth planning. We will include real-world case studies and perspectives relating to sophisticated “outside the box” estate planning strategies. We will also explore the forecast for the wine industry and the opportunities ahead for Napa Valley and Northern California. Questions to be answered will include a range of topics from: the One Big Beautiful Bill’s bonus depreciation rules and capital gains taxes with case studies; to navigating how to divide family property with complex family dynamics; to where Napa Valley real estate stands as compared to other luxury markets and the effects of The Great Wealth Transfer as well as a wine industry forecast from an expert who was featured in Wine Enthusiast this week! Our focus is on best practices that ultra-affluent individuals and families are implementing today as they plan for tomorrow.

Meeta Yadava, Managing Director, BMO Family Office
Meeta has 29 years of experience helping clients navigate the complex issues of significant wealth from her practice based in Chicago and Miami. She leads teams across 12 states and is responsible for client engagement across the enterprise and helps to develop and execute upon strategies for delivering exceptional client experiences She is part of the national leadership teAMland leads BMO for Women for Family Office for the country. Meeta also earned BMO’s distinguished Platinum Award six times in recognition of her contributions to growing the business. Meeta is actively involved in service to her community and is Chairman of the Laxmi Tara Public School in India, educating 1,500 underprivileged students in rural India
Hillary Ryan, Sotheby’s International Realty
Hillary is based in the Sotheby’s Wine Country brokerage and focuses on helping her clients transact wine country property including: residential, vineyard, and land develoPMent opportunities. Hillary draws upon her strong local network and over two-decades of real estate experience to help her clients select, understand and transact Wine Country real estate. Hillary has closed $6B in high-value real estate since the start of her career in 1997 Over the past two decades, Hillary has a wide range of real estate experience including brokerage, banking and commercial real estate investment. She focused the first part of her career working for highly reputable, Bay Area based companies including: First Republic Bank, Prado Group, AMB Property Corporation (now ProLogis) and DivcoWest


Amy Takeuchi Wanlass, Senior Director of Planning at BMO Family Office
Based in Los Angeles, Amy has over a decade of experience in delivering estate planning and tax advice, as well as financial planning services. She works with individuals and families on complex wealth transfer strategies, estate and income tax planning, and charitable tax planning goals.
Prior to joining BMO, Amy worked at Northern Trust as a Senior Wealth Advisor and Wells Fargo as a Senior Wealth Planner. Amy was also previously a practicing trusts and estates attorney at nationally recognized law firms including Venable LLP and Mitchell Silberberg and Knupp LLP. She holds a J.D. from the UCLA School of Law, as well as a B.A. in History and Theater from UC Davis.
Perry DeLuca, Managing Director with BMO Capital Markets – Wine, Beverage & Agriculture
Perry is Managing Director and Head of Wine, Beverage and Agriculture Middle Market M&A at BMO Capital Markets. Prior to joining BMO in 2023, Perry was Managing Director and Senior Banker, Wine & Beverage at Bank of the West, serving as lead sell-side banker on numerous current mandates (including 5 deals in exclusivity currently), and other successful sell-side deals including Spring Mountain Winery and A to Z Wine Works He also originated several full banking relationships, for companies ranging from $5MM-$100MM EBITDA. Prior to 2016, Perry also worked at Wells Fargo Bank and Key Banc Capital Markets.
Perry holds an MBA from the University of California, an MA from Johns Hopkins University and a BA from Georgetown University Perry is also Board Member at Trentadue Winery He now resides in the Bay Area.
